Stop playing games Rachel. Let it go to trial. If you are truly innocent, then the truth will set you free. Stop wasting the taxpayers money. This could have been over a long time ago.

I wish this woman would just go away already and disappear! She does absolutely nothing for her district. She should give up her seat now and allow someone else to take over since she has disgraced herself to the point that no one can trust her again. Is this all we have in El Paso? Surely someone out here is more qualified than this sad excuse to represent the people's needs and not her own!

If she had any common sense she would quietly step down and admit the fact that she made an error in judgment by wasting everybody's time and costing the taxpayers money by continually changing lawyers and trying every trick in the book to try and get the case dismissed. She messed up and yes should be held to the highest ethical standards!

Her unwillingness to take responsibility for her actions says it all. If she expects pre-trial diversion, she is admitting she did it. If she admits that, she should resign. If she had resigned and take responsibility, then -- and maybe then, people would have been willing to cut her some slack. What arrogance and a classic sense of entitlement!! You see it continually in her smirky grin.

She should be required to repay her undeserving salary that she received during the time she was fighting her case while being guilty! I cant believe we've been paying this criminals salary for an entire year while she arrogantly tries to avoid real prosecution. Throw the book at her! She should do jailtime! I know of people who spent time in jail for stealing items of value less than $50 dollars. Surely forgery and a plane ticket warrant some jail time!!!

If you manage to get away with this, you're gonna further erode your constituent's faith in you, and in our judicial system.
You're wasting people's time and money on something that's a slam dunk.
You think you have it hard now......wait until witnesses are deposed and they tell the truth (something you're very weak at). Then you won't be able to control what gets out to the media, and your career will be over.
Unlike the folks in government that support you, you don't have anything to fall back on; like a law degree.
You stole services from Southwest Airlines, got caught, and then you paid for your tickets.
Case Closed? Nope, not so fast.
There's that little matter of fraud and possible forgery over at FEDEX, Girlfriend.
You worked there for a while - you didn't own the place. You had no right to the FEDEX letterhead that was used to defraud Southwest Airlines.
Additionally, you have no heart as you implicated people that may even be your constituents.
What if they lost their job(s) over your theft of services?

Why don't you admit your guilt, hopefully you'll get to do some prison time and maybe next time you will think twice before forging anyone's signature. In case you don't know FORGERY is a crime, maybe not a violent crime, but a crime none the less. I'm sick and tired of crooked politicians getting caught and then saying, it's a misunderstanding, or I didn't know, or whatever. You knew you were no longer employed by FedEx and yet you presented a Forged letter to get two free air line tickets to go to Vegas (Sin City) how appropriate. If I were in your situation I would of already resigned in shame. How can you stand in front of the citizens of El Paso, who have to pay for everything they want, and state that you are being unfairly prosecuted. In case you didn't know you are an elected official and MUST be held to a higher standard, wheather you like it or not.

Hey Rachel, look at the el paso times poll - as of right now - 92% of respondents say you should resign. I think you should take their advise, resign, do your time and when you get out move the heck away from here. You can reinvent yourself in another city, good luck avoiding the internet though. why is everyone on her case. she is your typical el paso politician , the only problem she has is she does not have a political history a lot of the other politicians have . Yeah she did commit fraud but compare that to some of the other politicians she is just building up her resume.She has not done enough yet to get a building or street name after her.

Quintana is a rat!!! A thief and a rat. A tiger does not change it's stripes, if it walks and quacks like a duck it must be a duck. She is a useless thief who shamed her position and thinks the people of El Paso are stupid. By continuing to appeal she is saying to all the people of El Paso "In spite of what I did you are to stupid to recognize it and re-act". Marana, get her out and show the rest of the country that El Paso is sick of all the crooked politicians that are being flushed out.
