I am glad that nobody got hurt. It is serious, but I am sure they did not do it to hurt their counterparts. It was a prank (which is probably a copycat prank from something they must of seen in that MTV show). Kids make dumb mistakes; this was a super dumb mistake, but jail? Come on... In school suspension sounds right to me.

If it comes out positive for rat poison and clorox,there dam better be well jail time. I don't care if they are kids. They're little punks.
It's attempted murder for gods sakes. |

sounds like a chitty mess to me
|
||||
|
i would i loved to be there when all them andress kids started chitting on them selfs LOL
|

I can't believe administrators called a parent who had the cupcakes and the parent turned them over to the administrators! Now that is one dumb crook!

I think the perpetrators got off too lightly. They could have killed someone. You might not think taking a laxative causes much harm but in a susceptible individual, for example, someone with a preexisting electrolyte imbalance such as might be found in a teen with an eating disorder or cardiac contractility problem it could be lethal. The D.A. should charge them with attempted murder and lock them up.

on campus alternative school??...chapin kids are so spoiled! send their asses to a REAL alternative. they wanna misbehave and get caught then give them the punishment that an andress, irvin or parkland kid would get.
now if there was more than just laxitives....well then ya press charges. someone would have died, its not funny, they need to face a judge. when i was in school (parkland) our pranks were vandalizing each other's school...immature and stupid-this i know now, anyway some of the kids i knew that did it got criminal charges on them. these are human beings we're talkin about, u dont feed bleach or rat poison to them! i dunno what these little girls were thinking! |

Even for a little laxative, these kids need to get a huge punishment that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Nip these habits in the bud at this age before it becomes a story to laugh about during Thanksgiving dinner.

Well well well, maybe they forgot to take their fiber and wanted to remind Andress that they should take their fiber too!

heh. kids.

I am a Franklin Alumni and found this entire scheme to be disturbing. I was captain of my high school winter guard team my senior year and believed that a captain should possess the qualities of good judgment, responsibility, and be able to work as a team. The idea that these so called leaders schemed this prank up is only a reflection of their instructors, coaches, and parents. Obviously they were not shown what it is to be apart of good sportsmanship. The group they are associated with is called a TEAM! So if one gets punished the whole team should get punished. I truly hope that these students learn their lesson with "only" three days of suspension, as they could have endangered the lives of other students.

I hate to break the news to you but any idiot would know that rat poison has a negative effect on anything that ingests it! Im sure these "educated" girls had their intentions on harming the competition and to blame this on television is cop out! These girls need a wake up call, ISS is not enough, lives were at risk! If a student showed up with an unloaded gun to class he or she would be arrested and have more than IN SCHOOL SUSPENSION!!! these girls are getting off lightly because they are GIRLS! |

These are young classy ladies. They made a mistake and everybody is acting like they have never made a mistake before. |

They should get charges put on them. And they shouldn't be able to walk in their graduation to show all the others if you play you have to pay!!!!!!!!!
|
||||
Get real. Classy young ladies do not pull these kind of stunts. Yes, we all make mistakes. A stunt such as this does not fit in the "mistake" category. The parents of these "classy young ladies" need to impose their own discipline, so that the girls remember this "mistake" the rest of their lives. That is how we learn all learn by our mistakes. |
||||
Young CLASSY LADIES??? This is not just and little mistake. these girls put serious thought into this so called "PRANK". The only reason why they are getting away with simple in school alternative is because they are from Chapin high school. Everyone thinks so highly of Chapin and these girls are the captains??? captains are supposed to set an example for others. How is it when you simply graffit another school, which DOES NOT cause harm to anyone but you are able to get criminal charges...but some people think that attempted murder..should just get alternative?!! that ridiculous. lets get real here justice should be served. i bet if one of those andress girls had been laying in a hospital bed right now certain people would see the real seriousness in this problem. sincerly, JM....DISAGREE |

A mistake is wearing a blue sock and a black sock because you got dressed in the dark. This was intentional and should be treated as such. If your kids were the victims of this “mistake”, I doubt you’d be so cavalier. These females are neither classy, nor ladies. |
