Wasted Wall, you do realize that every time you post, thinking people are laughing at you? It is not that they are liberal and you are conservative. It is that you are simply a dope while others are thinking complex thoughts. This is where the fight is. It is between the ignorant who have been nowhere and think nothing new, and those who see 2000 years of stupidity as fact. You are nothing new, just simply wrong about almost everything. Laughing at you should not be this easy.

Mr. Renteria, thank you for the article and for not jumping on the band wagon of political correctness. These idiots continually try to shove their lifestyle off on the rest of us in an attempt to force the rest of society to accept what they do as acceptable. When they get called on it they want to claim discrimination. I would just advise them to use common sense.

<quoted text>If a woman kisses a woman in public you of all people would be ok by it and i bet you would even try to get pictures and post them in youtube, but since we live in a double standard town lets point the finger a this gnetleman who showed affection between each other. You should know that in the muslin religion it is customary to hold hands and kiss each other in the cheek to show affection between men. Times are a changing and you should just keep your comments about people with other preferences to your self, or are you free from guilt? Everyone in this world has skeletons in their closet, and the only one who can judge us is GOD!
Don't care who kissed what and where. The whole point is men kissing in a restaurant were asked to leave but none of these men are the ones pushing this. The one person who is so offended was not the one kissing. Must not be a big thing to the others.

In the Times the other day, two women kissed as a form of protest in front of the Chico's on Montwood.

What a stupid waste of time. If you are going to protest the actions of Chico's contracted guards, do it in the restaurant, not on the street outside.

El Paso Times, Texas, Ramon Renteria column: Kissing at Chico's Tacos is in bad taste [El Paso
Jul. 12--EL PASO -- Chico's Tacos is a great place to hang out any time, especially when you're muy hungry after hours.
Chico's is an El Paso institution, their flauta-like tacos so revered and craved that parents will ship them cross-country by express air freight to students attending college elsewhere.
So you can imagine how high El Paso eyebrows were raised when the media got wind of the chisme.
Police said a group of five gay guys was asked to leave a Chico's restaurant after two of them were seen munching. Not on the crunchy taquitos smothered in cheese and tomato sauce but on each other -- as in kissing in public.
The last time we checked, tacos de lengua were not on the official Chico's menu.
Media reports suggested this was a simple kiss, not exactly the more intense public display of affection that you might see at a San Francisco bistro. The incident sparked a debate in conservative El Paso over whether the security personnel and police officers responded appropriately.
It's not anybody's business what gay or straight couples do within the confines of their private lives. When you kiss your girlfriend, boyfriend, spouse or partner anywhere in public -- no matter how passionate or innocent the kiss -- it becomes everybody's business. You rub your lousy behavior in our face.
Does a straight guy have the right to touch his girlfriend's behind in church?
We all go to Chico's expecting to emerge with our tummies happily bloated and our tongues burning from
the jalapeno salsa. While Chico's Tacos attracts all sorts of characters, some interesting and others just plain weird, we do not go there to be entertained or repulsed by the diners in the next booth.
What ever happened to common decency?
How many times have you begged your sons and daughters not to kiss like monkeys in heat at the mall, the movie theater, the concert, the stadium and especially restaurants?
Kissing at restaurants is inappropriate, a basic lack of respect for others. Diners don't want to see you barefooted, bare chested or swapping DNA.
Grandparents don't want to have to explain to 4-year-old grandchildren why two dudes were kissing at Chico's. "Don't look, mija. Here's another bunch of quarters, go play another video game. Pronto."
We can argue all night over whether the authorities should be applauded or condemned, whether civil rights were violated in this situation, and whether we are tolerant or not.
The bigger question is whether any of us, regardless of our sexual orientation, should be kissing at Chico's, Starbucks or any other public venue, even if it's not illegal and even when your peer group condones this type of behavior in public.
Necking in public never blends well with that double order with extra cheese and extra salsa on the side.
I get it now. I really, truly get it now. I could never understand why my straight GF's would come to me , telling me how their husbands didn't have a clue about foreplay, but i get it now.

If a simple kiss can be so disturbing to a heterosexual male, that he can not even kiss his wife on her birthday at her birthday dinner because he sees this as 'making out' or 'necking', well then heck, I can totally see what the problem is: the males, being forced into a birthday kiss, are preforming the foreplay in the restaurant, and therefore, are not seeing the need for another foreplay session once they reach their bedroom.

It is not about being homophobic, it is about being respectful to others. You do not have to show the whole world that you are gay from head to toe. If the gay community or whatever they want to call themselves, want respect they should respect others. Likewise any other groups out there.
RESPECT?

This whole issue is about RESPECT? What a bunch of HORSE CRAP.

It is about HOMOPHOBIA and nothing else.

Opposite-sex couples KISS EVERYDAY IN PUBLIC, whether it be at a restaurant, at a mall or at a park........IT IS NOT A FLIPPING BIG DEAL........BUT let it be 2 men or even 2 women and ALL OF A SUDDEN IT IS A FLIPPING MAKE OUT SCENE.

Folks......it was a KISS......there has been nothing that says it was more than that........GET OVER IT.

The Security Company states that it stands behind what the security guards did......RIGHT UP UNTIL THE LAWSUIT IS FILED.

Obviously the state of TEXAS has LEARNED NOTHING SINCE THE LAWRENCE case back in 2003.

My wife and I kiss in public.......and it really is just a kiss.

When PEOPLE ARE OUTRAGED OVER WHAT HETEROSEXUALS DO IN PUBLIC........then ONE CAN BE OUTRAGED OVER THIS.......until then........STFU.

What ? This has nothing to do with the discussion. More of a justification as to why she is gay, who cares ? Go to the Dear Abby letters section of the newspaper.

I cant wait till all morals are gone and this issue turns into Man fingering his dog at chicos. Some things just arent supposed to be explored. Man on Man is one of them.

There's a world of difference between a man committing sexual acts of deviancy upon his pet and a man merely showing his innocent affection toward another consenting adult.

From a Biblical standpoint, the rise of homosexuality is sign that a society is in the last stages of decay.

Homosexuality has no more risen since the beginning of human sexual nature.
It always has been and always will be.

Once upon a time a man and a man would have been classified as sexually deviant (and still should). Thats what I was hinting at. If we let this go on now, years down the road something even more immoral will be introduced, like penetrating your loved pet's invalid behind. And at some point we may be able to read dogs thought and they may be able to give consent. Does that make it right?

This all reminds me of a joke......something like all standing around a campfire and its no longer fun and games when the first wiener falls in the fire. So getting back to the original request. How about this guy that is jumping up and down having his happy friends come forward and see what their feelings are about this. Oh and Joe I was heard about The New Sheriff squirming in his seat and everyone watching to see if he did come out of the closet.
