Northeast officers arrested two men in separate incidents late Wednesday and early Thursday on outstanding warrants.

Almost all criminals are put on probation, or are later released on parole, only to commit more crimes. Cozy, short term jail sentences followed by parole are no deterrent to crime. There are so many criminals out there with outstanding warrants for parole or probation violations, or for other crimes, that the police would have to put out an extraordinary effort to avoid stumbling across them.

In a liberal society that does not punish crime, respectable law abiding citizens are forced to live amidst all types of criminals, including sex predators.

Had to be in the notheast. Come on everyone knows you don't walk around in the Triangle at 1 in the morning!!!

not all of Northeast is bad I agree the triangle is a breeding ground for thugs I think they should raze it...it gives the of NE a bad name...
