No Iraq War Parade

Everybody is already sick n tired of all this hero crap against 3rd world countries. Why don't they take on the Russians , China, Mexico, Korea, Iran then maybe they'll get a parade bunch of sissy crap.
I would be all for it if they held it in Crawford Texas as to Mock the W and rub it in his face. Then they could throw eggs and rotten tomatos at the W and Laura.

We don't need a parade as such as it cost too much and the veterans apparently don't want one either. They want to recover from the wounds received. They do deserve recognition and a monument with the list of the dead should be set as soon as practical. That should also include all the names of those who for whatever reason took their own lives and those who were killed in service (KIS). We need to leave open an area for those who have served and died in Afghanistan.

I am sure that Mr_D_ElPaso was hijacked in this case as I have never seen him react this way about veterans.

To be real honest I don't know why the hell we are still hanging around Afaghanistan any more and we should get out before we lose any more of are brave service men and women to them sucide screwballs. I hope the Iraqi vets get treated well. Us vets had to slip back into the country, you know.

I was riding home from Treasure Island on a Greyhound after getting back from Vietnam. Keeping my mouth shut. Not bothering anybody. This hippie looking guy was giving me the eyeball. He didn't like me, I could tell. About midnight, somewhere East of Phoenix, I ease out of the seat, slide in a seat behind him. He's snoring. Nobody in the back but us two. I take off my necktie, slip it around his neck and yank him back in his seat and commence a series of hard knuckled shots to his right temple. Ten or so of those and he's out like a light. I wait a minute or so and ease back up to my seat. When we get into El Paso the next morning I'm waiting outside the bus and, sure enough, the hippie gets off: he's got a black eye and a huge knot on the side of his head. He ain't walking too steady. I give him a big grin. My knucks are sore but it feels good.
