Anyone with any real knowledge of Bob Jones knows what he is, and that he is soon to receive what he justly deserves.

As for his fantastic, magnanimous and charitable contributions to the community, it is common among rich and greedy folks to make large charitable donations either for the public relations benefit or to relieve their guilty conscience and prove to themselves that they are not such bad folks after all.

You can't buy your way into heaven... you have to repent and seek forgiveness... something that Bob Jones has never beenn inclined to do.

Well truth seeker is partially correct.
THis started when he was getting volumous funds from the disabled assistance programs. He and his little gang were going to use local community citizens with disabilities, and then neglected to hire a single disabled person.
He was tied in with a local crooker lawyer, also named Jones, who was involved with MEDICARE fraud in the El Paso school district. When the Fed's went into lawyer Jones office, he had been obliging enough to write everything down...everyone's fraud, along whith the who, what, when, where and why.

In the late 1980s, I used to work at one of his offices in El Paso, if I remember correctly it was on Avenue Montana. When I began working, I was told to tell people that I was a disabled person living in El Paso trying to support my family. It was very embarrassing and very humiliating for me, especially since the majority working there were perfectly healthy like me. I left after 3 days working at that center and never picked up my check.

I think by ELPTimes standards, everyone that has been implicated in this case is innocent and the FBI is just out to get the good ol' boys.

Lets see Bobby Jones is in his middle 60's. he has 37 counts... probably the majority of those will stick. His mouthpiece lawyer Joe Spencer is not a magician. A prison sentence for an old man does not sound too good. He would rot & die in prison. Maybe time for him to find a country with no extradition. Little Ruthie will be the bag lady, but will probably turn on him. She is not to be trusted with the dinero. Ruthie will come out winning in all this.

Well said. They portray themselves as doing good and contributing while the other hand does something else.

Forget the tax breaks. Making a millionaire richer and then they will pay minimum wage. Don't let them get away with this city council.

Suggesting that Mr. Jones was on his way to revitalizing down town, is incredible. If you pay attention to the way people spend their money and time you will find out what they are all about. It sounds like Mr. Jones money and time did not go towards revitilizing downtown. This is not good work.

This article is a public relations spin on Bob Jones, Access Healthsource and Physicians Healthcare Associates. The FBI knows this guy is a crook and his associates and a threat to public safety. The FBI needs to investigate why or who is putting this positive spin on Jones. No one is buying or embezzling it. You all are facing prison.

Everyone in El Paso especially the FBI knows this was a front to mislead the investigation and the El Paso public. Jones, Ernie Lopez, Frank Apodaca, James Woods and Dr. Vernoy Walker are guilty. It took more than one man to orchestrate and coordinate this widespread public corruption. El Paso and the FBI is too smart and know better. These CRIMINALS are not fooling anyone.

El Pasoans are not cheering on these crooked people. El Paso knows the truth. It's obvious this article was put out by a friend of Jones. I have never seen something more unbiased or trying tooo hard in trying to help someone save face. It's too late. Everyone knows what they are all about. EPT better stay out of it and acting like a co-cospirator to Jones and the others.

Why is it when El Paso Times talks about Jones other businesses being raided by the FBI or he was embezzling funds for them, they don't come out and say anymore the names of these business like Physicians Healthcare. Physicians Healthcare Associates and Access Healthsource are at 7430 Remcon Circle. Frank Apodaca is Access former CEO and Dr. Vernoy Walker is president of Physicians Healthcare Associates and former chairman of the board of Physicians Hospital, places that Jones was embezzling millions of dollars for.
