Why this state should be declared in a state of emergency over prop 215

One reason is the wholesale fraud of having an illeagitimate economy as large as the black market is for pot operating and altering the legitimate economie.

Why should any legal business owner pay or sould i say pay there honest shair of quarterly taxes to a state government that allows this 215 not for profit fraud to continue.It time for this house of card too fall.

look at what is happening in small towns like hayfork cal and tell me we are not in a state of emergency.

Went to hayfork last year went to the bar and in about five minutes was asked if i wanted to make a deal in pounds wow all i wanted was a drink .

I agree this 215 thing is out of hand

I am 50 years old and for years would ride my motorcycle through this area starting thirty years ago.As long as I have been going through there pot has driven the economy.Not much different now other than it being more out in the open.I saw a piece on Fox News about the situation there and thought to myself...Why is this news?Even before prop 215 the cops would give a nod and a wink to pot dealers knowing that they kept local businesses alive.These people really help to create jobs in a community like Hayfork where there would be almost no money if it weren't for the growers.I don't smoke pot but if I was a business owner in the town of Hayfork I would be thanking my lucky stars that the medical pot money was in town keeping my business going and making it possible for folks to work.

Hell you are right but its a system that breeds corruption and thats the problem honest workers need to be at the top of the food chain in a real economy .Not dirt bags collecting food stamps housing grants and pg&e care problem discounts and free health care because they do not have a reportable income.Workers pay with cash growers pay with food stamp swipe cards .WHY WORK WHY WHEN you can just take advantage of the few that work in a place like trinity county.

It's hard to tell what you are trying to say given your broken English but I will say that,although I have never grown pot, I'm sure that it does actually take quite a bit of "work" to plant,irrigate,harvest,process ,etc.Now that medical pot is legal in California this is part of "the real economy".The people who make a paycheck from working on a pot farm are just as American as those who get their paycheck from working on a kiwi farm or for the police depart or super market.The IRS has been paying close attention to these activities and although the Feds don't support prop 215,they will happily collect income tax from growers and the trend is for growers to pay taxes to avoid prosecution.Trinity County needs as much tax revenue as they can get.You want to keep the couty stuck in poverty.You are in the minority
