Anybody know why Roger Barnes the superintendent of schools changed jobs? Did he have trouble getting along with staff and parents? Why was he let out of his contract by the school board before June?

Roger Barnes is a good man. You'll find no better example of an upstanding guy. No evidence I can see of trouble getting along with staff, faculty, administration, business leaders or patrons. He loves a challenge and this move will put him much closer to family. ElDo is a school system which is NOT in dire financial straits, thanks to his fiscally conservative decisions. The timing of his resignation has to do with the timing of administrative contracts AND his concern in giving the Eldo board time to find a new superintendent. He will be missed...
