What happened early friday August 7th around 2am with the helicopter and car chase in the hills of el dorado???? Does anyone know, I can't find info on the computer anywhere except that a guy named Deric Ivy was arrested for evading police and a stolen car, does it have anything to do with it? Very curious.

The helicopter activity woke me up and when I checked the CHP Traffic incident page this is what I found:

the "1015" code means "suspect in custody". There were no articles in the Bee or Mountain Democrat with information on the event. The Sheriffs activity page summary did not shed any light on the event either. I did drive by Tea Rose where the car crashed and the homeowners yard was all torn up. I am sure those homeowners know what was up.

There was more action going on at the Hills...anyone know why several firetrucks and several cop cars entered the neighborhood around 12:30AM Friday night? Sirens woke me up. Just curious.

I also went on line to get info on that evening here at The Hills...where did you find that incident report on line? I couldnt find anything for El Dorado Hills, only the larger cities.

Last night there was more action at The Hills of El Dorado -- lots of fire trucks and police entered the neighborhood. Anyone have info on this. It was about 12:30AM, Friday night.

That one was a garage fire on the corner of Knollwood and Magnolia Hills Dr.

CHP is a State agency. There would not be any 'report' from EDC Sheriff info.
CHP had entire incident (including life-flight and arrest) under command.
