Barnidge: California's prison problems just keep getting worse

Well, if you would change your marijuana laws you could probably empty half the prisons. Also taking all the criminals back to mexico would reduce the other half.

When are you going to learn that is in the governments best interest to have as many people in jail as possible so they can just keep hiring guards and tax you more. Bigger Government = More Money

Quite true! Prison guards and law -enforcement in general are the ones who want to keep the prisons full, it's called job security!

Oh, and it's those prison guards and law enforcement types who retire on six figure pensions when they’re 50 years old, not the little old secretary who is lucky to get a low four figure pension.
