Hearing under way for Dunnigan man who assaulted teen

Give him the fair trial he deserves, and then send him to prison for a long stretch. Nice work Yolo county LE team.

Who cares how old the boy or man was. We are speaking about a 10 yr old. I remember in December 1989 when a 13 yr old girl from Woodland, and a 12 yr old girl from Woodland were both kidnapped, tied up, taken to a welding shop and repeatedly raped for 6 hours and he got only 18 yrs and 9 months. His name was Gregory Hines. One of his victims has since died, at the age of 33, from alcohol related liver problems and the other is taking mental health medications. Both these were results of the rape. It will be interesting to see what this pervert gets but my guess is not more than 18 yrs 9 months but the girl will probably pay the rest of her life even if she cuts it short.

He had a prior molestation charge, if that is a second strike I think he's looking at 25, if it's a third strike, and I suspect it is, it's probably life plus an enhancement because she was under 14. Not sure but that's what I think I read, hope I'm right. I also hear that child molesters aren't the most popular criminals in prison.
Be nice if he would have the courtesy to do himself in and save the taxpayers all the money...

It was Alexander Hines that commited the rapes. Both Gregory and Alexander were also found guilty in Oxnard for shooting a teen, one time each, in the face with a shotgun and killing him. They got 25 to life on that for the 1st degree murder. Alexander has already served out his 18 yrs and 9 mos on the rapes in 2007. He will probably never get out though. He has his own two daughters which he had in his truck when arrested. They were like 3 and 5. He also had a saw'd off on the dash.
