What's wrong, couldn't you find any examples of my saying bad things about animals? That is what you criticised me for initially.
Shallow sad little Anamouse thinking she is so special.
Because the whole world doesn't like me because I am so rich I have air conditioning and everyone wished they could be like me shallow self centered a just a genuine airhead.
All I hear in her post is look at me me me me.
People ignore me because I only talk about brad and angelina and the shallow life I live in my glorious twenty room mansion and the sad little people who bow to me when I leave the clubs.
Yes Annamouse all of us are so jealous of someone so shallow.

No, its not the whole world, only someone in this forum who thoughlessly said I was subhuman for not being willing to do more after I admitted I could live without air conditioning and do more. But now we know they too were guilty of the same offense, and since no one outside this forum similarly criticizes me, I actually feel pretty good about myself.

But then again I guess I have a simple mind, I never have had a goal of making everyone like me.

I'm not even sure I rehab for the right reasons. Yes I like helping the animals, but sometimes I have thought that the real reason I do it is becasue it maks ME feel good.

See it is all about ME, you're right.

That is as opposed to people like you who see much more virtue in claiming that you sacrafice terribly and suffer greatly as a result of how much you do for animals.

You know when I think about it I would much rather me than you. I get the same fealing of satisfaction you get from suffering by sacrificing so much of your life for animals, by helping animals recover so that I can set them loose, and I don't have to suffer at all to do it. I know that compared to you and your friends I'm being selfish, and instead of being upset by that fact I actually relish over the thought that I don't suffer a lot. I enjoy life, all of it.

I find it interesting that despite what she says here:

"Davis said that the minimum holding period for adoptable pets in Los Angeles shelters will not change, despite the governor's action, with the average adoption period of nine to 12 days.

"Our mission is, we're holding animals as long as we have space," she said."

Davis redlisted 73 dogs at North Central last week, DESPITE the fact that there were 34 empty kennels and plenty of room at the shelter. I think perhaps they are using the dire economic conditions as an excuse to slaughter more innocent animals. There needs to be some accountability and oversight here.

Hey Anamouse, I think it's kind of funny that Fred and Raised in Redlands are singling you out. I read the entire forum and you haven't said anything nasty about animals,(in this forum). Am I missing something?

On the other hand I suggested we start selling them for food and that apparantly didn't offend them.

One suggests your posts are all about you, but their posts really are all about them and all that they have done and given up so that they can help animals. I can't see evidence that you give up anything,(except some time and a little money), for "rehab" whatever that is.

I guess that shows how little of the world sinks in with these guys. They may love animals but they definately have people problems and I bet their loosers in real life. The don't live modest lives so they can help animals, that's just their excuse. Their loosers who don't earn a good living and need the unconditional love that only a animal that doesn't think their a looser can give them. Perhaps they LOVE their animals just a little too much, you know what I mean?

I suggest you just ignore them,(that is if you're not just playing with them in the first place).

Was thinking about Mr.Ed just the other day.

Good to hear that he's found stable government employment. That TV work is so unpredictable.

Well looks who steps up and calls people losers.
First if your going to call someone names know how to spell it.
I give of myself and what little I can to help a dog.
I know some of the dogs will never find a home.
It hurts to know the kindness I give them is the only good thing they will ever know from a human being.
I also live with the knowledge that in their final days my attention and walking and taking them out of a cage is the only good they know.
Not left forgotten and abandoned to die alone like a prisoner on death row.
No dog should ever be treated like a old pair of shoes no longer wanted and thrown out for next seasons fashions.
So you go ahead and call decent people names it shows you lack a sense of being.

People are forced to put their pets in shelters because of all of the foreclosures, these people can not find suitable housing to rent that takes pets.
If more landlords would take pets there would not be so many pets killed for no reason other than they have no place to go. People have to lose their family pets that in most cases they are like family.
I am currently back in my mortgage payments and will soon be living in my car because I can not find an affordable home to rent that will take my 2 small dogs that are very dear to me. I will not give up my girls for anything.
May God help these poor pets.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Taurus

Be careful if you're supposed to be saving money, because it's likely to fly through your fingers in no time at all today. You're open to all sorts of delicious impulses now, such as splashing out your hard- earned cash on little treats or big purchases. Indulgence is the key here, and you'll also want to push the boat out if you're going to a restaurant for a meal. You'll work your way through the menu, regardless of the cost.
