Most commonly H2S can be found in Sewers, and of course in our town, in the petroleum industry. H2S is also known as "Sour Gas". If I am not mistaken Lion Oil and Chemtura share a Sour Gas pipeline. Not to point fingers at just those industries, H2S is so common in the industrial setting that most gas detection meters come with a built in H2S sensor.
