Not sure. Smell was noticeable around Washington Middle School as well. Kinda smelled like butane.

I called Clean Harbors earlier. The lady who answered the phone did not think it was them and she suggested it was coming from West side of town. However, I noticed it worse on the East side of town.

I just talked to someone who said that it may be EDC (El Dorado Chemical). He said that they had been having leaks of diluted bromine in the last week. Just a thought.

I smelled it really strong this morning downtown. It smelled up the building I work in until late morning when it started to subside. I believe residents should be notified when something is being released. We have a right to know what is in the air we breathe.

OMG I live on the east side. I stayed home yesterday from a terrible headache. El Dorado has different odors from time to time, but you are right there is something much stronger on this side of town right now.
