prayers of comfort and peace to the Watson family on the passing of their youngest son, Hartford. I doubt very seriously that Mr. Watson will be interested in running for mayor as he endures the loss of a child. God be with that family.

I doubt very seriously that Mr. Watson will be interested in running for mayor as he endures the loss of a child. God be with that family. That is sad. My prayers are with Mr. Watson, his wife, the younger Bob, etc. Also, pray that Jessica has a speedy recovery. This is very tragic

um, I checked the results before I voted. Then placed the vote, but the number was still the same. Who oversees this, the emperial leader of Iran? or Diane Hammond?

It's gonna be Yancy if he decides to run. He's young, articulate, and has a nice big family. I say more power to him and if he runs, I'll vote for him.

With Mr. Watson out of the picture, Yancey Kyle is the only choice. He's smart and has my vote. Many of the people I have talked to say he will be the next mayor of El Dorado. He has fresh ideas that this city needs. It's time for a younger generation to take over. We've raised them right and they can handle it.

We have no idea what Mr. Watson's intentions are. He may decide to run or he may decide not to. There is no one besides Mr. Watson who knows how he will deal with the loss of his son and we should respect him enough to let him make up his mind in his own time. I like all of the people listed in this poll, but I do think Mr. Watson would probably do the best job. Give him the time and respect he deserves. If Mr. Watson decides not to run, then I will support Mr. Kyle if he runs.

it looks like Diane and Yancey keep voting for themselves to keep up with Bob. I've heard he's promised the school board to stay on until the new school is built. I guess that means Yancey and Diane with have a go at each other. Damn.

I meant no disrespect to Mr. Watson and my statement had nothing to do with his tragic loss. It was because of the new school and his retirement timing. I just heard he wasn't running. Kyle is my choice for mayor, looking at the big picture I think we need new ideas to bring Eldorado forward!

Mr.Kyle has my vote. A new voice from a good Christian family man might turn this city in the right direction. The big boss old school so called leaders need to retire. Just my opinion.

Please...not Mrs. Hammond! I'm thinking Mr. Kyle is probably our best option. I would like to know more about him though. He should really step up his publicity.

He's the Emergency Planning Coordinator for the county. He's ran for Representative. Good family man. Christian. If he was more in the public eye, some would think he would be wanting this position to increase his public image ([cough] Mrs. Hammond). I think he'd make a great mayor
