Driver Killed in San Diego Car Accident

A 52-year-old El Cajon man was killed in a San Diego car accident after his 2004 Honda Accord crashed into the back of a Freightliner semi-truck. According to a news report in The San Diego Union-Tribune, the fatal truck accident occurred on the Interstate 8 near Alpine in East County, the early morning of November 16, 2011.

I arrived just after this crash had happened and it was immediately obvious that nobody could have survived. I got my car out of lane 1 when i realised the truck was sitting stationary in it, but it was barely dawn and gloomy. I was on vacation from England and travelling from La Jolla to Tuscon.
Poor fella.
