Wow, take a look at the photos for Bike week - women wrestling in cabbage and chopped up vegetables. And that is the "hightlight" of the festivities at bike week! That is one intellectual party going on there!

Outlaw motorcycle riders. Treat them as terrorists! Let Bush enact a federal mandate to get rid of them!

Some Bikers are cool and responsible, some just have bad luck (rear tire blow out), and some are just plain stupid and deserve their fate. I had some moron zip by me at a high rate of speed...fishtaled...and layed down the bike just under a parked car. Screw 'em.

Three more days to go, be careful out there.

And while he is at it have him enact a federal law that anyone driving a car that's putting on make-up, talking on a cell phone, reading a newspaper or any other distracting activity be thrown in jail for DUI of stupidity. These are the true terrorists of the road.

Some people do have bad luck with bikes. One of my best friends from miami was killed on his bike while taking pictures on it while it was parked. that dam mini van crushed him.

Why not mandate that everyone has to purchase and drive a big gas guzzling SUV? Forget that motorcycles get great gas mileage.
Also mandate that there is no longer any pedestrian traffic.

Now here is an intelectual thought. Lot's outlaw motorcycles because there was an accident. Ok, not sure of your logic there motorcycle = terrorist. While we are at it let's outlaw German/Italian/Japanese/Americ an cars and treat their drivers like terrorists, you know I saw one of them crash once. I've also noticed a high rate of crashes caused by people over 60. Line them up against the wall next or maybe let's send them to a "retirement camp". so much negativity here. bikers are people. i am a biker and it's our annual event. we don't bother anybody. i bet everybody here would go see "Wild Hogs" because it stars John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy, "nice bikers". Very hypocritical i think. We are not Hells Angels and if anyone has noticed, the average age of a true biker has risen to the baby boomer age.

i would never ride a bike. its scary enough in a car. i had 2 relatives wreck (different accidents) and they were lucky to only have broken bones and their life. then one day, i saw a wreck. a truck stopped on the road and the bike crashed into it. the man survived, but the woman, a mother of 4 didnt. i can never forget seeing that. i couldnt sleep for a week. cars are always running down bikes. drivers are unsure of the bikes intention and speed or just dont pay attention. weve all seen bikes fly past us on the highway too. yall need to slow down. everyone needs to be careful. car or bike. theres too much death on the roads of florida. theres too many people who just dont care and pay attention.
this might be unpopular and i know what the law says but yall should be wearing helmets---there must be some kind that is safe and comfortable and if there isnt, someone should make it.

When I was a kid a saw I guy from my town having a bike accident. Of course he was going to fast and lost control. We all saw it. There he was on the ground, aching and spitting blood. All his teeth came out. It was pretty cool though. Stupid guy. One month later he was racing through the town again. I hope he will die in a fire ball one day, maybe he already did. Btw, the guy who got killed by a speeding bike on Sunrise a couple of month ago was a former neighbor of mine. He was the nicest man and was on his way or coming from a doctor appointment. He was killed by a speeding maniac. There is nothing cool about a speeding bike, nothing.

Jo....comon now.....thats a bit extreme. Most bikers are the most wonderful people you would want to associate with....and....if you have ever riden you would no way feel that way. Let the bikers take care of the terrorists for they are far more patriotic than you seem to be.

only 6 dead - not bad for a party with over half a million people riding motorcycles - would have been that many dead if they were in cars too i bet
