I have heard about this.. Heard that Judge North was tried in a court in Toledo. Also heard that not only was lawyer duggan involved but also Rhonda Fisher.
Heard that they are trying to keep this hush hush that is why nothing was put in the local paper. |

I would like to know who I can contact, I had a case that was taken care of prior to a court hearing, but still had to go and although it was taken care of I still had to pay a crap load of fines. So I am wondering exactly how how they were embezzling.Reply to montpelierguy

The reason no one is posting any proof of this is because it is not true. There is no way this would have escaped our local news paper and North is not that big of a figure in our county to keep it out of the papers. As for Duggan, well he is a not the best lawyer out there and who knows if he would have done something wrong.
To montpelierguy...you still have to pay court costs and fees even a case is settled before the hearing date...that is how it is. |

1 Considering that most of the handles on here are related to Montpelier, I now realize the abundance of stupidity to this thread. C'mon people, think about it for a little. Someone would have reported this! I knew 'pelier people were were not the sharpest tools in the shed, but this about takes the cake. |

1 Wow! I would say some people need to learn about sarcasm...Did you read my post? Do you honestly think his mother is running an illegal sweat shop and all the other fabrications within the post? Wow! You are a sharp one! BTW...you can get a definition of sarcasm by using the link below. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sar... |

1 That would require people to actually do something about their issues, rather than complain. And one thing I have noticed in Williams County, is that people would rather talk than perform action. |

1 Hmmm...interesting concept, and I do agree that it is great that people would want to get involved with the government but...spreading unconfirmed lies and spreading rumors is not a way to get involved. Now, if Judge North were to issue a statement, just how many people would actually: 1) believe it, and 2)just claim it is another lie by an elected politician? Considering the majority would fall into both categories, why would Judge North need to issue a statement denouncing lies? Last I knew you were innocent until proven guilty in this country, and last I checked, I see no guilt. |

1 Why yes, I am for real. I get up every morning and put my pants on one leg at a time. And no, I do not find it ridiculous that local politicians could be involved in scandal as it does happen all the time. What I do find ridiculous is that there is no attempt at fact when discussing the serious allegations in this thread. For example, you infer that with an area the size of Bryan and the surrounding villages, would it be hard for me to believe that embezzlement (as accused in these threads) from the Judge, City Prosecutor and others would stay hidden? Yes, I do find that hard to believe. An issue like this, in today's political climate, would be gold for discussion in the local papers and blogs. And yet, I again see no evidence of anything. Did you know that if they were indeed tried and convicted in Toledo or any other city for that matter, there would be public record? Did you know that if they were arrested (which would have to be done first in order to try someone), there would be public record? All you have to do is either look it up on the internet, or go to the local hall of municipal records and look it up. I would suggest people try that prior to stating rumors and innuendo. Yes I did show generalizations towards individuals from Montpelier. This was based upon the fact that the original handles of the individuals posting on this thread indicated they were from the Montepelier area. As I continue to research and review these accusations, I have discovered that many of them come from individuals from...yep, you guessed it, MONTPELIER! Finally, I was partially hurt that you called me a fool. But then, I decided I needed to review the definition of fool. According to www.dictionary.net , a fool is defined as: 1) One destitute of reason, or of the common powers of understanding; an idiot; a natural - Nope, I am a fairly intelligent individual who is well educated 2) A person deficient in intellect; one who acts absurdly, or pursues a course contrary to the dictates of wisdom; one without judgment; a simpleton; a dolt - I would say I have pretty good judgement, and I am definately not deficient in intellect 3) One who acts contrary to moral and religious wisdom; a wicked person - Hmmm...you may be onto something because I have, unfortunately, acted contrary to moral and religious wisdom 4) One who counterfeits folly; a professional jester or buffoon; a retainer formerly kept to make sport, dressed fantastically in motley, with ridiculous accouterments - Well, you got me on that one. I have been known to convey folly and act like a jester around friends and family. I guess I am a fool. Thank you for pointing this out. I don't think I enable elected officials to steal, cheat and conive the general public. I do my research and make these allegations when I have proof rather than proceeding along with rumors and unproven allegations. I like your spirit Amy. I think you and I could be friends. |
||||
Again, may I ask for facts? Proof? If they discussed the matter prior to people being there, why did the people go along with it? I can only assume the people hired an attorney who negotiated a plea bargain. However, you do not have to agree with the plea if you do not want to. You can request a new lawyer/public attorney if you feel your current one is not working in your best interest. People control the final outcome in regards to facts and truth. |
