When Bill Clinton was President there were many who predicted diaster. When George W. Bush was President there were many who predicted diaster. Remember all the fuss about Y2K? Stop expecting diaster, some day it might actually come and the fact that you have worried about it for so long won't change the fact there is nothing you can do about it.

He won't be in office long enough for us to RECOVER from the damage he's added to the list of our woes. Open your eyes.

Some clarity is in order.

This is an AP article about an AP poll. AP is left-leaning and biased and not to be trusted. The running realclearpolitics.com average of all polls has 38 percent right 54 percent wrong direction. That's a significant departure from AP wants to report.

The Reporter relies too much on AP and should run articles like this with a disclaimer, at lest.

Just an update on Obama as his approaches his 100 days in office.

Ex-GAO chief: U.S.'must get fiscal house in order immediately'

As President Obama approaches his first 100 days in office, America's fiscal health is "not good and deteriorating," according to David Walker, former U.S. comptroller general and former drector of the Government Accountability Office.

Walker says the U.S. faces "unprecedented challenges" with regard to financial institutions, housing and the ripple effect of the crises.

He spoke with Greg Corombos of Radio America/WND. The audio of the exchange is embedded here:

"What we've got to do is put our own financial house in order. Once we start turning the corner on the economy, we need to do what we've asked G.M., Chrysler and others to do," he says.

"We need a transformation and restructuring plan, because this country has been living beyond its means for too long."

Walker also addresses healthcare reform.

"There's no question we need comprehensive healthcare reform. In my view, that should include, among other things, universal basic and essential coverage that's sustainable over time .... but we already have overpromised on healthcare, we've promised more than we can deliver," he says.

"Any kind of healtcare-reform proposal needs to improve our financial condition and our long-range fiscal outlook, that is a litmus test."

Health care reform should start with malpractice suits and fraud plus drug testing for persons on programs , that should take care of that.

What concerns me is that if the Taliban take over Pakastan they will have Nukes so health care may be a none issue.

It's not 100 days yet, he can still screw up a couple more things.

YOu are incorrect. Why should WE THE PEOPLE sit back and do absolutely nothing about the debt we are creating for our children & grandchildren? Why should we sit back and do absolutely nothing when the President and the thieves who represent us try to take our Constitutional Rights away.

There are things you can do: Get involved. Write to your Representatives and Senators. Study the upcoming bills. Research. Research. And more research. There are too many Americans out there voting who know very little to absolutely nothing about the issues they are voting on! Our Government thinks it can do anything because of people like you who sit there and do nothing. You don't even try to take a stand.

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Aquarius

This is a good day for getting on with chores and mundane tasks. You'd much rather get them out of the way than have them hanging over you for any longer than necessary. What's more, you don't want to waste your time by doing things in the wrong order or by being so slapdash that you have to do something a second time. You're setting a terrific example right now!
