Who was the black man who was hung and what town and state did it happen in and who did the hanging and how many witnesses were there?

I don't know his name at this time I am still doing research on this. That's why I ask if anyone new anything about it. It was in Princeton, KY. The Police have ruled it a suicide and said to leave it alone.

Jerome Lamont (Roney) Brown, 35, of Princeton, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at 7:04 p.m. at his home.

Born May 24 1972, in Christian County, a son of Robert White of Alabama and Jeanette Brown of Hopkinsville, he was a member of First Street Baptist Church of Hopkinsville and a tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Service.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a son, Jerome Lamont Brown Jr. of Princeton; a stepson, Michael Lipson of Princeton; three daughters, La’Neshia Hodge of Hopkinsville, Angelica Brown and Angela Brown, both of Princeton; two brothers, Jameron Brown and Melvin Brown, both of Hopkinsville; two sisters, Fernanda Brown and Sherlaski Turner, both of Hopkinsville; and his maternal grandparents Dorothy E. Brown of Douglasville, Ga., and Robert Brown of Hopkinsville.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. at First Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville with the Rev. C.E. Timberlake officiating.

Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.

Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements

The story I heard had something to do with him and his wife were having problems..........

Yes this is the man... I am concerneds daughter and I just recently moved to Princeton and I heard about this and I have three mixed childern and it worried me so I was worried and my mom just being a mother she was looking up info... I have heard so many diffrent things and it really worries me......
