Dear MR.Occhi, i have been to the police ,the FBI and the lee county sheriffs office no one will help or listen to me, i did talk w/ someone in the ATT. general office and that got Tupelo to reopen Leigh's case last year.but nothing has been done. i will email you and tell you what i know.Dixiegirl

What about DNA test? Did they test any of the items for DNA? Since we have much better testing capabilities can LE test now and enter results of unidentified DNA in CODECS to TRY to find a match?

also she called my wife and wanted to stay the night with them that night but wasnt able to they where best friends but her and her family were treated as suspects just cause they was close

and this has never been solved cause the great law enforcement screwed up from day one they still get pissed round here if u bring it up to one

The mailing of the glasses to her home was obviously something only the family itself would have done to try to throw off investigaters..I've heard from "sources" that the police know who did it but don't have enough evidence...if we had the DNA capabilities then that we do now, this case probably could have been solved...its a terrible thing...every time you turn around these days, a child or woman is missing, usually linked to a parent or family member...

I bet half of you are just posers pretending to "know" people surrounding this case. Why dont you stop contacting "each other" and call crime stoppers if you have any ACTUAL pertinent info. People acting like jackholes over things like this, and by that I mean most of you in this thread, belong in Juvie. Get a life.
