Nuts for Pecan Fest

I go to this festival every year. It is a really great festival to attend.I know some of the volunteers that help and they put many hours to make The Louisiana Pecan comea live as it does. If you have never been and ever get the chance .. Do it .. You won'y be disapponited.Check out their web site @louisianapecanfestival.com

should be plenty nuts for festival in louisiana! we get plenty for our Rice festival!!!

there is a pecan and fruit cake and candy store on Johnson street in Lafayette that packages and deliveres its the best pecan fudge ,roasted pecans . I too will try to find the name a nd address.

Thank you.It's located in Grant Parish Louisiana,actually it is a small community attached to Colfax & Bently Louisiana. Our town would be consider Colfax. Very,Very Small.and yes I beleve it's a great place to live..It's a town where the older folk still gather at our local drug store, buy an actual .5 cup of coffee and sit out front on log benches to visit. There is no stop lights and only one caution light in the cities limits. It's a place where everyone knows you by your first name.Our closes Wal-mart is 36 miles away. I was born and rasied here..Oh,I've movedoff a couple times when I was younger...But this is where my roots are.. This is where I rasied my 1st child and am now rasing my 2nd.This is where I can always call home..

No I like the name coldbeauty...As a child my favorite story was sleeping beauty, I was always afraid of the step-mother(witch) in that story.So, when I was A child to make her less scary I always call the step mother Coldbeauty..It kinda became a joke within my family...I guess it just kinda stuck with me all this years

I'm not wigging out over anything I happen to have a 8 year old that does a lot of wigging of her own when she dosn't get her computor time... We all must share.LoL And I called Pam
and she told me that you e-mailed at the Festival office and ask about me, as well as pecans. 1st I'm a big girl if you want to know something all you have to do is ask.Yes, I am married to a wonderful man. I have no reason to hide this. I use the forums on the internet to converse with others on different subjects. Its nice to talk with others out side of a small town on worldly things.And go easy on Nutcrazy. She is a wonderful person married her self w/ 2 children of her own,Working two jobs to help make ends meet, at her parents house as well as her own.her dad has been battling cancer for 8 long years and she is one of his care givers.She is a very easy going person who always has a smile own her face no matter how bad of aday she may have had .she is the type person that will help others any way she possibly can. she also lost her mother in-law to brain cancer last year and they are still paying for alot of bill for her care as well.So don't down her that she can't afford a new computor right now... that will come in time....It's getting late so i'm signing off for the night...Good night.Sleep tight,don't let the bedbugs bite..LOL

First of all, I think NutCrazy is a good person. I have no beef with her. Why are you beating up on me? I was joking about the computer. If you read the e mail she send to me on my private site you would know I was joking with her. And yes I did ask about you because I wanted to know first of all. I'm an honorable person and I wanted to know who I was e mailing. I'm sorry to hear about all the saddest with Pam. Yet, when I read her e mails she seems as if she has no problems at all. That's a good hearted person. What makes you think am hard on Pam anyway? My older sister died of cancer two years ago. So I can appreciate her situation. Did I spell that word correctly? Did I do something so bad about asking if you were married? Are you really a "big girl"? Is that literal? Coldbeauty, you're just giving me way too much information on Pam. You need to lighten up on my friend, Pam. I think the next time you talk to Pam you ask her what I said about you. It was a very high compliment. Did I spell that word correctly? I like all the conversations I can get on the opposite sex. It help me to have insight and another view of things. So I like talking to you to. NutCrazy, I do hope all is well with you. I was just kidding about the computer. Someone just chewed me out but good about the computer comment. Coldbeauty, has a very good heart. I guess after being in Cafifornia for so long that its rare (did I spell that word correctly) when you see that. She mention some very kind things about you. Are there anymore at home like her or you? Its all about character not necessary looks, but looks are important to. I meet alot of people that's women in general, and just in less than a day or two I've ran across two very "good hearted" females. So just know that there must be someone of this nature for poor poor me. I hope you are doing well. If you run across some good pecans (maybe a 2 or 3lb bag) let me know.
