Why do these people have nothing to do at 10:00 in the morning? Even if they don't work or work part time or 2nd or 3rd, what's with the explosive device? Don't they know what's going on around the world? These young men have either been taught wrong, or not taught at all, or just plain don't care. This is so obviously a stupid decision on all their parts and I really think they should be punished where they remember 'THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG'.

As the mother of a toddler that just played on that area on Monday evening, this is very disturbing and disappointing. I don't know what those three could have thought would happen other than children being injured. It would be a long time before they had the freedom to make their own decisions. What will they do next????

I hope these three BOYS are punished for what they have done. They could have hurt or killed someone. My son works at McDonalds and its sad to think I need to be scared of him getting hurt do to someone else being stupid!

This is what can happen when you let your children run all over town. It is a shame that the 18 year old will probably not see his graduation this year. Parents don't let your children run all over and especially know who they are with. Have them check in and know where they are.

The 18 year old's parent did not let him run all over town. He worked hard to try and prevent his son from becoming like this. All of this is the 18 year olds choice and he needs to take responsbilty for his actions. So dont blame this one on the Parents

I don't understand why these comments seem like they are being easy on these GROWM MEN. they planted that bomb to kill little children and anyone else that they could. They plannned it out, made the bomb, and took it to McDonalds. no one forced them to. I think that they should be tried for attempted murder and given life in prison. just think people what if you were there at that time with your child and you walked past that trash can.

It is sad that the youth think the only way they can get attention is by causing a severe injury. Children today have no values. A lot of people had the possibility of being hurt, but thanks to the crew at Mc.Donalds,Chief Romeo, and officers, things were kept under wrap.
A slap on the wrist is to simple for these deviants. If 911 wasn't enuff, and all the usa colleges campus and high school killings isn't enuff, what's next?
A more harsh punishment needs to be delivered. Placing these individuals in a cell is too generous. Look at the Oklahoma bombing.
Losing a life is a big price for someones foolish games. A child, or an adult or one of the Finest Eaton Police we have on staff is too valuable to lose. Citizens of Eaton, the public needs to speak in volumes. We need to praise the police men and Chief Romeo for handling that call and capturing those suspects so fast.
Job well done~Men in blue!!
