Driver is charged with DUI, homicide in Easton crash

too bad for the driver he was in Northampton county versus Lehigh county and Martin as a DA...he would only have gotten a citation

We all know that driving under the influence is bad, stupid, dangerous, AND against the law. I think anyone who is DUI and winds up killing someone should be charged with murder one.

I am so sick of this "Let's try to get away" mentality. Send this guy away and throw away the key. Mr. Golf Country Club knows that his life is now shattered. No more caviar...just PMITA prison

Yes, yet another murderer who prefers to use a vehicle rather than a gun or other instrument that we need to get off the streets. I guess even after all the previous murderers we've taken off the streets, we still have some who either are just plain stupid or think we're kidding when we say DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE. These drunks are no better than a murderous gang member shooting someone on the street........this kind just uses their vehicle instead.

If he could afford to play golf at the country club why couldn't he afford to hire a driver to take him home? I guess he just wanted to show off in his pretty boy pick-up. Yeah, well that backfired. Bet he's sorry he was so selfish now.

Another murderer without intent maybe, but nonetheless a murderer just as a spade is a spade....

$75K bail is too low. It should be about ten times that. If he only needs to post 10 percent of the bail he'll be out in no time and cruising the streets again, until his trial.

You know, that's what I don't understand about a lot of the celebrities who are continually caught DUI; with all of their money, can't they hire a driver or at least a taxi to take them home after a night of partying? Then they could get falling-down drunk if they want and wouldn't be endangering anyones' life on the road.

amazing how this guy is getting charge with their deaths but that girl who killed the teacher is getting off and she was drunk and left the scene ... wow what a screwed up system

So when Black turned himself in he was "visibly shaken?" And we should care about that, because? I imagine the families of the victims are shaken, too! And while the article doesn't give his age, he sure looks old enough to know better than to do what he did. I'm waiting for some bleeding heart to post here that "we all make mistakes, it could've been you behind the wheel, and blah, blah..." He should be put in jail and photos of his victims should be plastered all over the cell walls - make him see every single day of his rotten life the 2 people he killed.

The news reported the charges could carry up to 20 years - he should be put away for life. He is a selfish coward.

Ooops, you're right, it was his wife. My bad. Still, he doesn't look at that happy in the photo, and I don't care about that.
