We will greatly miss Tim and Taylor. They were such a loved part of our family's life. You couldn't ask to know two better people that were full of love and life. God bless his wife and son who we love and will support through this difficult time.

It all sounds fishy to me and I hope they look into the cause very hard. He was a very good rider and had his daughter with him and I know he was not a speedster when she was with him 4 sure. The last couple of years to many bikes just running of the road on the north 611 above Easton has happen. Two good people will be missed!

What a terrible tragedy. I wonder if a deer played a part in this accident. That area of the Poconos is heavily populated with deer and at that time in the early evening they are everywhere. It's also mating season which tends to make them less aware of their surroundings and traffic.

This is the only article that does not state that they were wearing their helmets. All other articles on other websites, including this one yesterday, state that they both were wearing their helmets.

How come no mention now? Hummm... No helmets? Sorry, no sympathy then. They did not have to wear helmets. The law was changed years ago.

Please take time to reflect on Tim and Taylor in a positive manner. There should be no need for anyone to bring in negative comments about members of the Easton Police Department, current or past, at this time. Please remember family, friends and schoolmates of Tim and Taylor will be reading these posts. I ask that the Morning call monitor these posts for content and remove or delete any writings or postings deemed negative.
Tim was a wonerful family man. I can't think of a more devoted parent. I worked with Tim for more than 11 years. Tim was always there to help or assist new cops with learning the job. He will be missed by his fellow brothers, the school community and the citizens of Easton.
Taylor was a wonderful young woman with so much potential. An honors student and a band member she would have made a difference in this world.
My prayers go out to the family and friends of these two wonderful people.

If you hit a tree at almost any legal speed (or above), a helmet will do very little to protect you. I agree everyone should wear one, but that is a personal choice. You shouldn't condemn the man for that.

For those misinformed, they both had their helmets on. Tim was the safest driver I know and was even more safe and protective of his daughter.

RIP Officer Lambert you will be missed! I didn't know Taylor, but judging by Tim I'm sure she was a wonderful girl and the world has lost 2 great people. My heart hurts for this family. I couldn't imagine losing just my Husband or my Daughter let alone losing both of them at the same time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. This is an awful tragic time for them. Tim was a wonderful Father spending time with Taylor. Doing something they both enjoyed. He didn't "force" her on the back of that bike and they both WERE wearing helmets. Unfortunately bad things happen on a bike or even in a car. Life is fragile, which is why we should appreciate those we love everyday and People should keep their ignorant opinions to themselves.

Motor cycles are not safe. Trees ,cars , and deer are always a hazard and always win in a collision with either one. I always cringe when I see a chick on the back and the driver not fully in control. If you want to ride with a girl put her on her own bike and save one life.

RIP fellow rider.
How sad. Like another poster said, I wonder if a deer was involved in this. Deer scare the crap out of me when I'm on my motorcycle.

I've been overly critical of some police officers, but he was in a different league and deserves the respect. Sounds like he was a good cop and a good father to his daughter. Shame.:(
