I am looking for a few acres to raise my family. I can't seem to find acreage. I have 3 kids, so I would like a house with 4 to 5 bedrooms. I can't seem to find much that fits this in the area.

Well, the cost of living is low, but the high-paying job market isn't that great. It's a small town. I guess it depends how many you need to support, what your qualifications are, and how you want to live.

In Bricelyn, I would say no.

Wells (my town) has 3 banks, a couple of lawyers, Wells Concrete Products (largest industry in town)etc. It would still be tough to live on a single income. Some do it though.

The cities of Albert Lea and Blue Earth are larger, though still quite small if you're from St. Paul.

Perhaps these addresses will help:

That's interesting. I had to live in a major city for a while before I appreciated Wells and came back. Now is the best time of the year in Southern MN, autumn, hunting season.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Libra

Don't try to do too much at once today or you'll disappear up you know what! You're all fingers and thumbs, accident-prone and things start breaking. It won't help if you're trying to concentrate at work and a certain chatterbox doesn't know when to shut up. Ask them to be quiet but try not to sound shrewish.
