This is very tragic. I feel for the son. He will have to live with this the rest of his life.

Its a shame that you feel you feel so little for the boy and his family. However, your words give you away since you do not know the definition of murder and its you who hates and should look in the mirror. What happened was a tragic mistake, take care that you, or anyone, never make a mistake that serious.

Truly a sad day for the boy and his family. My heart goes out to them.

Temsick, you need to look deep within yourself and find whether your thought process is any better than one who willingly fires a gun at another person.
It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people assume you are stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt.

Temsik,
People like you is why the world is today what it is, I guess you are aginst the military too. People like you have no buissness voiceing your opinion. If you dont like hunting then get off the sight. Its bad enough that there was a good man who was spending time with his son lost. and a son that has to deal with that the rest of his life. Then you come in and say things like that. hunting and things like that are a dads way of teaching his son about life. Im sure by the way that you talk you must raise your kids around drugs, crime, and violence, we teach our children respect, disipline, and how to survive in life. Im guessing that you also were apart of the not saying the pledge of allegence in school because it states under god. well if you feel the way you do about american ways there is many borders that you can cross

This was truly a sad day in the lives of many people throughout the family as well as those who knew his family. It is truly a shame that someone who doesn't know the right end of their body and speaks from their ***. This young man will live with this for the rest of his life and will probably go in some type of counseling. I will pray for this writer as I do for the family, that he will take the time to know these people, as I do and maybe he would know that his words has been cruel and evil. They may have been hunting for their food, but you have killed a reputation with your words. Anyone who does not personally know the Peacock family, could possibly get the wrong idea, but the murder you have committed is the integrity of a good family and the "proper way" to bring up children in this evil world. If you would like to make negative remarks, why dont you start on a presidential candidate that REFUSES to say our pledge of allegiance, or the disjustice of those who would actually support him to lead our America.

Temsick, you are missing the point completely. Father and son could've engaged in stock car racing together, biking, downhill skiing...most, if not all examples are statistically more dangerous. "killing beautiful healthy animals" is only a byproduct of the time they shared together, such as more carbon in the atmosphere from stock car racing...
just because you and your father did something else with you growing up, does not mean you should impose your beliefs upon others.
Then again, i get the feeling that you are just an angry individual. Not enough of something in your life or too much of another. What's really the problem?

um...exactly my POINT....this should be a WAKE UP CALL/example as to why children should NOT be taught to kill. Now you go and post as you wish and so will I. This is a PUBLIC FORUM.
Folks, this is Timsiks post from another forum and he’s strictly an animal rights activist. He doesn’t care as you can see from his very first post here that he was tap dancing that a hunter was killed, nothing more.

Psssst....hey guys, I'll let you in on a little secret---Those AR's DO want rights and freedoms---FOR THE ANIMALS....and yeah, that means your PRIVILEGE (not "right") TO MURDER WILL BE TAKEN AWAY. Oh, and yeah.... we want to protect the animals, so, TroutMurderer YOU and your murdering pals are the ones who will have to "control" those violent urges you have to inflict pain, suffering and death when you 'interact' with animals. Oh, or maybe we AR's can come up with something like restraining orders so that psycho killers like you will no longer be able to be anywhere near animals...ooooo that sounds like a great idea...must start working on that one....:)

Ummm yeah and your point is? Hey genius, it's the likes of dense minds like you that can't seem to grasp that SOME people are against violence---and this includes the MURDER OF ANIMALS as well as innocent humans. Go on and dig a little further and I'm sure that you'll find other posts of mine that are serious as well as those with sarcasm----but YOU wouldn't catch it if it were thrown in your face.
YOU enjoy when animals are destroyed and I PROTECT THEM WITH MY VOICE----ESPECIALLY WHEN THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPEN---in case you're unaware THIS THREAD is about a boy who killed his father while they were on a mission to KILL ANIMALS...ah but you'd rather carry on over a personal problem that YOU have with people who have compassion for animals. GET OVER IT---and get over YOUR PERSONAL ISSUES---don't waste space on a thread that is not about YOU.
The irony of this is that if there were no hunting---this boy would NOT have been in a situation like this and would NOT have had to live with it for the rest of his life. YOU obviously have too small and narrow of a mind to grasp that however.
Please, take what little compassion you feel for the boy and stick it in your left eye. You could care less that the boy lost his father and it wasn’t sarcasm either.“Now let's wait 'n see if junior's gonna continue on murdering....”.

Randy I truly feel sorry for the young man. But certain people could care less. To them it is a great that a law abiding citizen lost their life. I truly think it is people like this, is the reason our country is the way it is today. These people or so "COMPASSIONATE" that they feel like this. I believe they are something in that word.

hey Mr. paranoid---NO ONE is "yelling"---besides it wouldn't matter if anyone were yelling because you STILL wouldn't get it.
I got it, it’s about a boy killing his father in a hunting accident and having compassion for the family not about hunting. You already did the tap dance earlier in the forum and you keep referring to hunting as murder. Mourn the loss of a human life since no Deer were killed.

It IS about hunting---what part don't you understand? AS long as CHILDREN ARE TAUGHT TO MURDER this will continue to happen and people like YOU will continue to deny that hunting is MURDER and that LIVES ARE DESTROYED UNNECESSARILY---BOTH HUMAN AND NON-HUMAN and in your mentality there's nothing wrong with hunting/murdering EVEN WHEN HUMAN LIVES ARE LOST. You killers will defend your "privilege" to DESTROY LIVES no matter how many are MURDERED in the process. It's sickening that you say you 'mourn' for this child and the family and yet YOU along with others will CONTINUE to participate in the sickening VIOLENT pastime---and then CRY as if it will be such a shock/surprise when the next person is MURDERED. You have nerve to expect pity for your foolish violent 'fun' when someone dies because of it when the consequences are so obvious.
Do NOT dare judge ME---for I am NOT VIOLENTLY DESTROYING LIVES as you.
If you see a roach or spider in your house do you set them free. When you are driving and a grasshopper impacts your window, do you consider this to be vehicular homicide. Cars are not neccesary as well. You are so angry. Maybe the extra zinc and creatine in a juicy dripping blood steak is what you need.

It's obvious that you are another clueless wonder---and YES, I do set insects free from my house if they may be harmful in any way to my family which includes companion animals. I RARELY drive a vehicle as I live as GREEN as I possibly can---but I wouldn't expect that you'd understand what that means. If I did, however, have an insect hit my windshield---I would feel bad about it EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT DELIBERATELY KILL IT---something that you wouldn't understand since you MURDER ANIMALS FOR FUN.
BTW, I'm not angry at all---I just can't stand to deal with ignorant callous killers.
Maybe a good heart attack scare is what you need to realize that eating corpses has it's consequences....or have you already had one?
Here's a bumpersticker I read a long time ago: "HEART ATTACKS: God's revenge for eating His animals"
Ta ta
So using your logic vegans are unable to have heart attacks? Did I ever state I hunt and kill for "fun". I hunt to eat. Now if you want to argue about hunting fine, but do not state things as true that you do not have a clue about.

Nope, not angry. I simply believe in NON VIOLENT activities. Hunting is about violence/DEATH. Period. People try to 'powder puff' it up by saying it's to be close to nature and 'bonding' with family/friends--when the fact is that there are weapons involved that are designed to DESTROY and KILL BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS. Stock car racing, biking, downhill skiing do NOT involve the INTENTION OF KILLING---there is a HUGE difference. As I stated before---do NOT judge, assume or try to "figure out what MY problem is" just because I state that KILLING IS WRONG. CHILDREN DO NOT NEED TO BE TAUGHT HOW TO BE VIOLENT AND TO MURDER. I have little sympathy for these accidents and I'm not sorry to admit it. Many hunters LAUGH at people with compassion for the animals that they brutally and boastfully MURDER. I do not LAUGH at the hunting accidents, but I do not feel sympathy either. No one has any right to judge me for that---especially if they are destroying animals that I have deep compassion and respect for.
Your words betray you. Someone who believes in non-violent activities would not be rejoicing in the death of anything, especially another human. Also, do not accuse anyone of "brutal or boastful" murder until you have looked at the world through their eyes. I love and respect animals, but also realize the need for hunting in a sustainable lifestyle. Those animals provide a source of food for me and my family. I don't know how you live, so I won't attack your lifestyle. I would expect you to do the same of others. Any comments posted to this thread should be expressing sadness at the family's loss through a tragic accident, leave it at that.
