Mass. diocese amends church closure plan

NO worries..........the New Order Vatican II Church is sinking quickly.....parking will be safe and available.

I have heard the arguments from a friend, who is a pastor, and who served on both the committee to yoke/close parishes and the group investigating sexual abuse allegations.

As a Catholic, I feel strongly that our Diocese has let us down. As soon as the pay out for the sex offender settlement began two things happened:

1) Church closures; 2) a reduction in benefits to lay people employed by the diocese.

I was born and raised Catholic. I went to Catholic elementary school and graduated from a Catholic College. When a religion bases it's decisions on what benefits the religion/Church and NOT the people that ARE the Church, it has lost it's way.

It is time that the PEOPLE take back our church.
