Torturing small animnals may begin in childhood and is considered an early sign of mental disorders and dysfunctional activity that leads to greater crimes. It lists the amount of fines and prison terms by state and which ones consider it a felony crime. New York is among the toughest and considers it a felony. If the animal dies as a result of the crime the sentence is a $15,000 fine and 3 to 5 years in jail.

How would you like to have a felony record for killing a pet? In most states a felon loses his right to vote while in jail and when on probabion. Anyone with a low mentality that would hurt an innocent animal is too stupid to vote anyway.

People who torture small annimals, have no soul. They do it because they desire the power rush of having life or death in their hands. It is not much of a leep from small amimals to small humans. Would you let someone who harms animals watch your children?
