Jury awards family $600,000 in bias lawsuit against Denny's

Im a white guy and almost got beat-up by the manager of the Denny's by the STL airport because when I told my black waitress that I was sick of waiting for my coffee he thought I was "bossing her around like a slave" (BTW my wife is black)...all I did was left and chalked it up to experience..so give me a friggin break people. Boo Hoo...

Its funny that its not about money. Every single day I hear someone say, "Hey, whats free today?" or "You givin anything away today?" And 95% of the time what race are they? So ridiculously greedy and cheap. Yes, that does sound racist and is a generalization, but so is saying Denny's has a reputation for being racist. Not to mention i'm sure their party was not a beacon of light when it comes to general kindness and manners. Oh, you're rude and loud and you didn't receive excellent service? NO WAY! Im sure that 600k will go a long way towards improving society in general. Congratulations on being a detrement to society.

Racial acts, should never be tolerated. Color should not be a factor. Wrong does"nt come in colors. End of story.

I was a server for Denny's for 3 years and a hostess for Denny's for 6 months. I was offered a management position but after complaining about management itself then I was retalitated against. I was taken off the schedule for management training. Also after a frequent customer found out that i had a bi-racial grandson he told the manager on duty that he did not want me to cook his food . I was told to get off the cooks line for this customer. So YES Dennys DOES STILL DISCRIMINATE not only against customers but also against their own employees and it is ashame that a 2 year old child is being discrimated against because he is bi-racial. While being employed by Denny's I have seen discrimation of disabled,racial discrimation and sexual harrassment. Employees are belittled by management. You would think by now that this would not be tolerated in America but it is still happening at Denny's.

When did americans (white, black, purple, whatever), become such whiney, greedy, ridiculus people to jump and scramble for scraps and loose change whining about this or that. I don't have much except whats right infront of me, but im not giving my pride away for something as stupid as this, and when I read shit like this it makes me sick.
