Cobert needs to tend to his messy personal life before he messes up Millcreek for 4 more years. Him and Tessa can ride off into the sunset as far as Millcreek is concerned.

There is only one reason that Cobert is not running, he knows he can't win. It took taxpayers a long time before they realized the damage that this guy could do. He gets away with his bully tactics and only a few people have the guts to take him to task. Good riddance to bad company.

Let's not forget that Cobert's buddies are still in office, so things may not change too much.

Fairview residents, better be wary of Ed Grode. He will try to run the district. He would be a terrible board member. Advice, don't go there. He was my principal when I worked for ESD. You can't believe how awful he was.

Cobert says in the paper that he only ever intended to run once? And now he plans to attend to the needs of his children? Yeah, right. He knows he has zero chance of being reelected. Too little, too late. He will not be missed. One possible regret, though, is that Cobert might not still be sitting on the board when the investigations and court stuff comes out in the fiasco created by MA, and publicaly supported by Cobert. He will be eating crow, as will Rasstater and Milhouse.

When John Hornaman first ran (as a Democrat)for State Rep. from Millcreek Dr. Cobert ran his "Republicans For Hornaman" committee. At that time he repeatedly said the Millcreek School Board was merely a stepping stone to his ultimate goal...being the Pa. Rep. in Congress from NW Pa. Talk about hubrus and arrogance...look at the chaos he has brought down on the MTSD in a short year as president of the board. He can't be gone fast enough. And as far as Mrs. Rastetter goes, the poor lady has no business being on the board. She adds nothing to any discussion (when she attends) and is basically an apologist and rubber stamp for past administrations. This District desparately needs to change direction after two years of obscenely poor oversight by an out-of-touch board.

Are Millcreek people that stupid or don't they realize what a dolt Rastatter is. Isn't she the one that said "special needs" kids dont's belong in the classroom with the "normal" kids" as they are a disruption to the education process?

And don't let her say otherwise, like she has tried to do since she put her foot in her mouth. Her discriminatory remarks are all on record on the tape of the school board meeting that ran for the public to see. She should have been forced to resign then.

She should have been forced to resign, but Cobert is the one that this board should have made resign too. They certainly had enough reason. The only reason that Rastatter wants on the board now is so she can give information to her good buddy Anderson.

How old is Rastatter - she looks 100. I wish she was computer literate so she could read these posts. Maybe I'll send them to her - anyone know her address?

I sorta like Scutella. I think he should record Joe Cocker's greatest hits. He'd be kinda like the Guiseppe Mazzini Society ambassador of song to Millcreek.

Scutella is a great guy. I will vote for him. Not sure who else. Will have to look at their credentials.

The fact that Rastatter is Cobert's BFF means she won't get my vote.

Ed Grode was a great teacher and principal. If he were able to run in the city, I'd vote for him without hesitation. The teachers that didn't get along with him were the ones who didn't like being asked to actually work.

The other Board members, with the possible exception of Wheaton, did not do enough to control / censure Cobert and as a direct result an entire year was essentually lost to MTSD. There are not enough folks willing to rock the boat when it absolutely needs rocked. There are not enough members willing to stand up to poor decision-making and board influence peddling. "Getting along" in some circumstances is NOT the way to go. There are still questionable decisons being made by the current Board that the public should know about. Perhaps new faces are called for...enough is enough. I congratulate and thank the new folks who are running and wish them luck.

Just watch Millcreek access TV and you'll see Dr. Baffoon still at it...blustering, intimidating...you know, pretending like someone really cares anymore. He should move out of town and take his tired, narcissistic act with him. He duped friends and voters once, but NEVER again.

At least not in Millcreek.

You must be one of his relatives.

Ed Grode is nothing but a bully. He was a terrible teacher and a terrible administrator. I wish he would move to the City. We don't need him in Fairview. He will do ANYTHING to get his way. Hopefully the people of Fairview will do their homework and not vote for him.

He's part of the Brabender family - hence, the political arrogance.
