Forest Barber was never a test Pilot for Taylorcraft. That is False. His Father Al Barber a fine man, was in fact a test Pilot for Taylorcraft.

Al was a test pilot for Taylorcraft in the 40's when most of the planes were manufactured. In the 50's the company moved to Pennsylvania making just a few planes and then went out of business altogether. In the early 70's Charlie Feris resurrected the company and manufactured Taylorcrafts in Alliance thru the 80's. Forrest Barber was indeed the test pilot for this version of the Taylorcraft company.
