Celebrating it's 3rd year on Blueberry Hill in Winteport, My Thrill Studio will be participating in the next Winterport Business Association's Business After Hours by holding an Open House on Monday, the 12th of October (Columbus Day) during the hours of 5-7. If you or someone you know might have a need for a recording studio, or if you'd like to know what it is that can actually happen at a recording studio, you'll want to make it a point to visit.

Local author, Howard Olsen, will be on hand to discuss the recent audio recordings of three of his published books- Diplomatic Immunity, published in May of 1999; Williams' Island, published in July of 2000; and Indiscriminate, published in June of 2001. The audio versions can be found at www.Audible.com via Audible Audio Books. Additionally, if you were an attendee of this year's Winterport Music Festival and would like to purchase the newly released CD from Gilpin Railroad Incident, they will be available for $10.

My Thrill Studio, a professional recording facility, offers 32 simultaneous tracks of Pro Tools HD digital recording. The studio also makes a great setting for documenting ones recording session. Also available is a complete and professional video/audio set up if one chooses to take advantage of the additional service. Gift Certificates may be purchased for as little as one hour of recording time should you be thinking of a unique birthday/Christmas gift for a family member or friend.

So why not consider attending the next Business After Hours event at My Thrill Studio, meet and speak to owner/sound engineer Mark Francis about the business, listen to and view a sampling of varied projects, speak to author Howie Olsen about the writing and/or recording of his books, purchase GRI's newly released CD, and enjoy the available food offerings/beverages.

One lucky guest will win an hour of studio time along with other Winterport business items in a raffle throughout the event.
