Gov. Paterson to make TV speech on Senate standoff

As far as i am concerned his rating will stay low. Everyone is to blame but him.

really if our government refuses to work they should be fired. we pay them for these services and they are not providing us with the services we pay them for. fire them impeach them what ever we need to do. stop paying tax and fees on everything. until they do the job they are paid for

I will not vote for any incumbent that is running for any elected position. This has gone on far too long and as a taxpayer I cant do anything to stop it except to vote against them. This B.S.
has to stop.

I say, keep them locked up in the senate chamber in Albany with the windows closed. Let them argue all they want, until the hot air builds up to intolerable levels and the room explodes.

Now he raised our rge bill he needs to be kicked out before election time.

They should get all pay withheld. If Id o nto go to work I do not get paid. Why are they treated different especially with my tax dollars I am forced to pay. I just wonder how many of these senators had to decide to sell there house just becasue property taxes were double the mortgage . Why would any business come to NY and pay all these taxes?

100 Million, Oh, no, how much money has the senate WASTED already? If they can waste taxpayers dollars for acting like babies then Monroe County can stand to lose the 100 million right? Fair is Fair in love and war!

we really need to stop paying our taxes on everything. its the only way we are going to stop our local and state government from hurting us any more.

our government does not work. it gets payed a slammer of a salary. a salary most will never see. our government officials are living the good life no wants or needs. and the rest of us nothing. and they still will not do their job. all of you get out of the people's way of liberty and happiness. your actions as state officials is unconstitutional

Dems, GOP, Tom Golisano: All of the above, and more. These are a bunch of high-tailed politicals that don't care about their constituents, just getting their little pork barrel funds for their special projects so they get more $$ for campaigns. They are so party oriented, they have forgotten who put them there. I don't vote party, so whoever you are in this mess, I will vote you out and choose a freshman representative because this is just ridiculous. The state has a negative budget and it's costing $400,000 a day (5 weeks of it!) for you all to sit there and be idiots! Who's paying for this? THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE! And yet, we still get taxed more and more and more and more.

Writing and calling your senators and governor may not seem like much but if enough people do it they get the message. Email makes it easy. I've written and called almost every day. And some of them do respond. Even if their reply is 95% political BS they at least acknowledge that the voters are feeling pain from their shenanigans. Well, at least the Senators in one party. But not the party that sued the governor to continue the gridlock by blocking this Lt. Gov. appointment. I guess they just don't care what the voters think, although maybe if I had a million or two to throw around Albany then they would listen.
