Gunshot victim's body found in Yonkers

113I knew him and he was a great person. A very hard working individual, who honestly didn't deserve his unfortunate fate. For all his family members my prayers are with you. My prayers are also with his extended family. I'm still in shock, but everyone please pray for his friends and family!

this world is very sick to shoot someone like that is totally wrong and should not be overlooked at all i live in the apartment buildings right across the street i heard the gun shots my prayers are with the family and his extended family i pray they catch who did this and bring him to justice

Why,why,why . this guy was one of the coolest people you could ever meet. very,very, kind, generous, loving,honest, caring and hard working, he had two jobs. He was a very good looking young man and many women loved his attention. not once have i ever witnessed or heard of him ever being conceited rude or disrespectful to anyone. i've told myself a couple times this guy is going to be somebody. i remember he told me he wanted to become a hip-hop and r&b music producer he was so excited about that . I told him I would teach him if he really wanted to learn. We never got a chance to link up on the producing.

no the problem here is there is too many out of control teens out on these streets and people don't do a thing about it just last year my friend was shot in the cheat on helena avenue in yonkers his name was tyron bergman and now this young guy was killed our so called mayor needs to take control of the city of yonkers cause he ain't doing a good job this has got to stop i heard the gun rounds go off but i just thought it was somebody playing around and now i find out that someone was killed i can only send out my best wishes to the family of the victim and hope they make it through this hard time my thoughts and prayers are with you

OMG! What a tragedy!!! What a damn coward!! To take a person's life and then his own!! How despicable!! This does not make any sense!! How can someone commit such a senseless, cruel,heartless,and morbid act over a female! Guess what, the monster who did this, would have never been with this girl either way! Boo boo when a girl leaves you, MOVE ON!! This is what happens when there is no type of discipline and nurturing at home. Too many young thugs out there with guns and out of control!! I just want to say that I'm real sad about this from both sides. I used to live in Yonkers, so I know it's a small town and everybody knows everybody or they know someone who knows someone else. Please take care of each other and provide positive guidance and support so things like this don't happen - life is not that serious...to let it go a the drop of a dime is a true waste and only causes pain to everyone else left.
