So sad that someone with this amount of ingenuity wastes it on crime and now will spend time behind bars. Maybe should have used that talent for bettering themselves and their families.

Let's see: one of them was charged with violation of probation. How come Newsday doesn't report WHY he was on probation?

You have to blame Home Depot.... I'm sure these two were using the "self-checkout"... if the store was using HUMANS to ring up the purchases they would have noticed $400 items ringing up at $5.00!!!

Blame Home Depot ?!?! I'm no fan of the chain but how do you blame them. Because they made the mistake to assume folks who use the self-checkout stations would be honest.

Because newsday is more interested in PC liberal slanting than reporting the story. Read the crapola story about the little turd that killed Mr. Shaw. It goes on forever, whining about how it is society's fault the slip&slide ended up as the dirtbag he is.

The self check outs are the worst in Stop & Shop - you can't do rain checks or coin return receipts. It actually takes longer because the whole setup is so tempermental.:-(

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Taurus

Some people are full of talk today and the trouble is that they don't know when to shut up. Who needs all the trivial details? Retro Venus is favoured in Gemini, so financial matters may resurface, and you may be inclined to change your point of view. Think long term, especially if you are tempted to form an important liaison, or partnership.
