Trouble brews over Scouts' coffee

Full story: Connecticut Post

Some state lawmakers say that can't believe they actually have to propose a bill to allow free coffee for drivers on Interstate 95 during the Labor Day weekend.

It is not the State Department of Transportation that came up with this decision. It was a person or persons who work at the State Department of Transportation.
It looks like someone or some people have too much time on their hands to come up with these B.S. rulings.
This looks like a good place to downsize. They must be overstaffed.

Maybe we should set some rules on the sale of Girl Scout Cookies...No sales between 6 pm and 8 am. And no more than 2 boxes of thin mints per purchase.(I love thin mints!) All those in favor say aye yie yie

I find it extremely interesting that in today's world where people complain that kids are out there doing drugs, alcohol and God only knows what on computers, that someone has nothing better to do than to enact a "rule" that prohibits 24 hour operations at any of its rest areas that stops these Boy Scouts from doing community service. The Boy Scouts is a great organization guiding these boys and building their characters with their own laws of being "Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent. Not too shabby in my book. What harm were they doing that someone had their knickers all twisted thus coming up with a new rule? They were there from 9AM to 6PM handing out coffee! These kids were following the Scout Law. They were always nice to me when I stopped by for a Cup of Joe. Good Job Scouts, Not so Good Job DOT!!!!!

Well, at least the boys have learned a valuable lesson. In this world, no good deed goes unpunished.

What the hell is this world coming to? What's the harm with some kids handing out coffee? Does there have to be a law for everything - even this now?

Typical!! Enact some law that does nothing. Next you'll need a law to have a garage sale.

Politicians are either/and
1. Moronic
2. Corrupt
3. Perverted

They should have to take some sort of test prior to election to determine if they have any common sense which it seems no one in government has these days.
