Look, I dont have a problem with you personally, I have a problem with your patriotism. You are an AMERICAN. My best friend who is a Chicano often complains that first generation Mexicans (anchor babies) say he has sold out to the "Anglos". BTW...if he applies for any job with the company I work for, he better be a citizen, have a government security clearance, no criminal record, speak English and have at least a Masters degree (as well as 20 years experience). I agree with your comments here. As a Latino it was shameful to see more Mexican flags than American flags at a rally that was about acquiring rights in the United States. The purpose of the march and the display of Mexican flags contradicted and hurt the purpose. Even those who gathered the rally realized that it was wrong. The mentality that is land belongs to Mexico is no more valid than the one saying that the land belongs to the American Indians that were here before the Mexicans. The land clearly belongs to the people and government who currently reside in it. The only point I was making when I said the process is broken; is because I believe someone mentioned they didn’t understand why they don’t just do it the “legal” way.

I am not Mexican, but I do however now Hispanic statics. Not that I’m proud of this, but a Hispanic women are 2.7 times more likely to have an abortion than an Anglo-Saxon American women. I think that the stereo type of Mexicans having 20 kids is greatly exaggerated. The average Mexican immigrant birth rate per women (Both legal and illegal) is 3.5 in U.S. The average for women in Mexico is only 2.5. The average for African-American women is 2.3.As for too many Mexicans trying to come here; I would have to agree. I think that a more diverse immigrant ratio would benefit America greatly.

I do agree with you that most illegals will self deport if the incentives are not there. The primary incentive being money, and then followed by social services.
