Why doesn't AARP lobby D.C. with a bill that HELPS I.D. theft victims? You can shred til the cow comes home, however, if your
I.D. has been used by someone else.......and the IRS notifies you, you've been working two or more jobs, who helps the victims? No one in D.C. You must hire an attorney and CPA. The FCC recently reported ID theft complaints are climbing. Again, they don't help the rightful owner of a SS number either.

Personally, I am totally shocked that AARP doesn't offer ID protection. They sell just about everything else! LOL

You better believe it "Fine." Fortunately, I cancelled my membership and demanded a refund. I just couldn't see any reason to keep paying AARP while they represent someone else (certainly not me). Such a shame...
