MOVE FOR LESS INC is the WORST moving company ever!!

I called and received two estimates from this company before the actual move. When they showed up at the door, the first amount that came out if their mouths was more than DOUBLE the estimate I was given. They added all of these fees that had never been disclosed before. Then they said that the job would take 6 hours. It ended up being more than 10 hours even though there were 3 men and not even a lot of furniture. They completely scratched up all of the delicate furniture that they took 4 hours to so-called wrap for protection with the extra $300 they charged for packing supplies. I will NEVER use them again and I suggest you dont use them either.

Nothing like that ever happened in our history. And we are in business since 1982. This posting is definately made by our competitors just to make us look bad. Guys play a fair game. Give better prices to customers and you will also get business.

We used Move4Less for our latest move and they did an excellent job. All fees were disclosed before they arrived. The two men were very nice and were so glad to do anything to help us. They were very strong and one carried a rolling double bed upstairs on his back - I was very impressed with that. They were quick and got the job done. Our furniture was handled well and there was no damage to anything. I would recommend them.

Please DO NOT confuse it with any MOVE FOR LESS on any other state. It is a very common company name and tere is probably 100 of companie with this name all voer US.

The NY one is just as bad. They sneakily billed us more than the price quoted. Luckily the credit card company called us and let us know.

This mover company is not bad at all with me at least.I had an international move to Canada with them and i got all my stuff in good condition.
there was no theft or breakage problem with them. the guys who load the stuff in the truck did awesome job. they packed our furniture very well that there was no scratch on any thing even after we got our stuff in 3 weeks. though I was scared a little after reading the reviews about them, but trust me when u trust yourself things go good.The employee named Michael is really nice guy and did wonderful job in getting our stuff timely.

I was the one who made the comment on April 27, 2009. I was an actual customer and I used the MOVE FOR LESS in New Jersey and they were AWFUL!!!!!! I am not one of your competitors. Actually, I spoke with you, Micheal, and you were one of the reasons the move was so bad. You told me one thing on the phone as if you were helping the situation just to get caught speaking to one of the workers to tell them to keep doing the bad job they were doing. All bad things come to light and this company will be shown for its true colors soon enough.

I had scheduled a move a week in advance. I was booked and confirmed for my move for Saturday morning. I received a phone call Friday afternoon; moving company called and said they had a mechanical problem with one of their trucks. They had to reschedule our time to the afternoon. Fine, no problem. Saturday, the day of the move, I received a call again from the movers about 20 minutes before the time they were suppose to show up. "Sorry we can't move you today". What? Apparently moving company was going to rent a truck to move me and their reservation got canceled. They had to reschedule my move for Sunday. Not only did this company reschedule twice, but now I noticed on my online banking that I was charged twice. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I will give credit to the actual movers. They did a great job. Overall experience, HORRIBLE!!!!

I agree with you, they should be shut down urgently.

Also, PLEASE GO TO BBB.ORG AND WRITE A COMPLAINT !!! THEY REALLY ARE THE WORST IN USA, LIARS!!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCK, EVERYTHING IS A LIE IN MOVE FOR LESS INC.

I dont have experience with this moving company, so I can't comment on that. But I can recommend you use http://www.starcitymoving.com/ because they handle NJ Area, and did a great job for a good fee last summer for my move!

Im using the one out of las vegas nv. 1600 was the original estimate, 2300 was the second estimate and that is to move to michigan. they gaurentee delivery with in 21 days, we are on day 29 and they just called and said they will be late go figure. This company is oviously ran by people that don't care. BBB needs to put these people out of business, especially with their fake home page testimonials.

This company is in business to harm others. As hard as a move can be they make sure to make it the most horrible experience, that will stay with you forever. I ended up with scratched furniture, scratched walls @ my new place, them speaking Russian to each other all the time, seeing one old man (the driver) in his briefs. DISGUSTING! and they purposely took a mirror that was over $500 from me when I complained about them smoking inside my luxury apt. Warning do not leave your move in their hands ~ you will hate yourself for life! I am telling you this from the bottom of my heart... WATCH OUT* BE CAREFUL *DON'T DO IT

Move for Less / Miami / Weston is by far the most dishonest, careless company! We moved 3 miles from one home to another. They dustroyed a $5000 dining room table that was custom made in Europe. Then they decided to give us .60 cents a pound to fix it! They decided from their office without seeing the table it weighed 100 pounds. In reality the table weighs 540 pounds. They made no efforts and fought me until I said I don't want your $60 but I do plan to spread the word anyway I can. Don't use them they are the worst ever!!!!!

We dealt with the one based in North Phx. They are dishonest crooks, and have ZERO customer service skills!!! The driver was hostile, unprofessional and actually Hi-jacked our furniture, then extorted CASH after refusing to comply with the contract...or follow through with the arrangements made over the phone. We had to involve 2 different police departments!! Even after furniture was delivered they continued to threaten that they were going to charge even MORE money to the credit card, in addition to the $100 they fraudulently charged prior to even showing up!!! These people need to have their license revoked and investigated for theft & fraud...PERIOD!!!__
