Yesterday a fox tried to carry off one of my chickens. My teenage son chased after him with a broom and he dropped it. The chicken seems to be fine. Any tips on how to keep the foxes away or catch him? I've got the chickens locked up right in a small fenced area but they love to free range.

yes get a goat he will get along with chicken and he will dicurage foxs since we uptanded one the fox have left goats are better than watch dogs.beth

Thanks. My husband was actually talking about getting a goat before - maybe I should encourage him to look into it.
