Translation: IDEM places the monitors where they will get the lowest readings of pollutant levels so the business owners can spew as much pollution as possible without the public knowing about it.

IDEM proposes adding new lead monitor in Burns Harbor

A new lead monitor would be located in Burns Harbor near the Arcelor Mittal plant, under a proposal by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to increase its air monitoring network.
