Good for you, Joe. At least someone wants to investigate this and not sweep it under the rug. I'll bet Joe gets grief from the Administration for this.

Joe is even suggesting that this gunman is a ..........LIb - close ears) an islamic extremist terrorist! That in fact, we may be able to confirm that the good doc hannan is an islamic extremist. Ya think???

It is currently 17 pages long and growing. It started of with the news report that seven soldiers were killed and followed it through to now.
If you would really like to get a glimpse at how this is playing out; look at this forum. These are the soldiers that are there and their feelings about this tragedy.

I think Joe Lieberman is a fair man. He already is receiving heat from the admin.
Forbid we should call this nut "an extremist Islamic terrorist". Yet, had it been a Christian or Jew who had done the same unspeakable act the media would have been all over that along with the o man. How dare the o man say "let's not jump to conclusions"...I think the conclusions are plain and clear. He just does not want to go against Muslims...

Did you look at the Fort Hood forum? There is a lot of information on the shooter. It is a very intelligent discussion of all the problems with this shooting. Many are angry and are searching for answers.

fisheye - i've just read a small portion of that forum. I come away from that believing that there is a HUGE problem that most of us are unaware of. This shooting is like the tip of an iceberg.

Sorry, not buying it, terrorist, nope, coward scumbag yes. He's been in the service, medical corps, for 10 years and is only a Major, boys been passed over at least once, maybe twice, one bad review in an officers career path IS a show stopper. Lt Col was probably not happening in his case and he wanted out and could not get out due to contract commitments after they put him completely through school. So instead of doing what every other officer passed over for promotion does, suck it up and move on, he decides to get even. I bet he's pissed that he's still alive seeing as how suicide by cop/soldier did not work out right, the guy is a total screw up, can't even off himself right.

Fist, Bayiew, regardless who was behind it, whether it be terrorists or a nut case- Obama has sunk America to the standards of Europe and 2nd and 3rd world countries.

The time for Attacks on buss's, trains, at the shopping malls, etc., to include but are not limited to the killing of innocent civilians has come to America.

Obama sits around and want's to have coffee or a beer and do nothing other then apologize. this guy is a real meat head!

fisheye, Had a chance to read the forum So very sad. Why oh why was this not caught sooner? With all the security, with all the mental health professionals, with all our alerts for terrorism you would think this would not happen on a military base.

Such a sad story for the families of all. I hope Lieberman gets to the bottom of what really happened. We are safe no longer anywhere. And the o man did not even go to the base...President George W. Bush went. Hope that made the o man feel as small as he is!

Just switch to the Israeli model, armed citizens, you don't hear too much about individual attacks anymore, only rockets and suicide bombers. There you have FAMILY members guarding schools and taking terrorists down well before the police or security forces can respond.

I checked out your link - I don’t think that is the freedom of speech that our soldiers are dying to protect.
I went though 17 pages of the Fort Hood forum. I thought that is was a good forum and provided us with some insight.
