Heres another example of everyone ignoreing big hints as to what a person is capible of doing, includeing the state, city, and police....

When this stuff happens these people have to be put AWAY !!

You can't convince me that Brian's family did not know of his whereabout's, this is just another example of neglegance by the authorites and families. Why was the victims cries for help ignored? the fingers need to be pointed at the right people, the people that had an important roll in helping to avoid such a tragedy...Shame on everyone who didn't protect the innocent and let the guilty free to commit such horrific crime. These children will be forever effected, this will change who they are for eternity..

yes, when you think about it, that statement was ignorant. those boys were totally destroyed. I sure hope her family keeps them.

How was she able to leave the state with the children legally? Did they both share custody, or did she get full custody? That would say alot

Daddys who love their children do not terrorize their mother with threatening and harassing phone calls. Daddys who love their kids do not break into their homes with a shotgun and shoot their mommy to death. Nothing in her PFA paperwork made any reference to their kids - it was all about his obsession with her moving on with her life. Had they been my kids he wouldn't have talked to them either. My heart goes out to the children who have nothing but the memory of the sound of shotgun blasts taking both of their parents forever.

Brian's Mom should be prosecuted for not giving the proper information to the sheriff I hope she is real proud of herself!! 3 lives were lost because of her protecting her son! whom sounds like he had a real mental problem!!

I don't know who you think you are or what you think you know, but you are wrong. Brian was a good friend of mine, and while I knew he was depressed and miserable, I had NO idea that he would do something like this, or that he was even going out there. How dare you accuse his family and friends of knowing what was going on and not trying to stop him? You didn't know him and you don't know us. If you don't know the facts, which you don't, shut up about it.

Their boys weren't the only ones who were destroyed in all of this... so were his Brian's 3 daughters and both families. For you information, her mother does have the boys, but she won't keep his family from seeing them either. She is a bigger person than you people making all of these comments.

She didn't leave any state with the children. They live in PA and she wanted to move back to IL, so to keep his family together, he left all of his family and friends and moved there with her. What did he get for that? She cheated on him for years and then left him, took his boys from him, and left him with nothing so that he had to move back to PA.

All of the newspaper articles you are reading only tell HER side of the story. They don't mention all of the times that she called his house or the hell she put him through. The papers are trying to make him look like the devil, and her a saint. They are painting the wrong picture. All 3 of them were in the wrong here, Brian, Heidi and her boyfriend who left his family to tear her marriage apart. If you don't know the whole story, and you apparently don't, don't comment.

I am a friend of the family and I will defend Brian until the day I die. I knew him for 14 years and never saw him be violent - not once - and I'm not going to judge him and his entire life because of what he did. No, what he did wasn't right in anyway and neither was anything she did. Until you walk a day in somebody footsteps, you don't know what its like. And he did get the death penalty - he is gone as well. This whole thing is a tragedy for everyone involved. I prefer to try to remember him as the caring and loving friend that he was...

I know you arent implying that simply because she chose to leave with her children that she deserved to be killed ?? You are just as sick as this bastard was. People, like you, who blame the victim make me SICK !!! No matter how you slice it, you cannot justify what this man did. PERIOD !!

I dont care how well you knew this man. A man who will stalk and murder his wife (while the children are IN the home, to make matters worse !!) is NOT a good man.
One day prior to this tragedy, a very dear friend of mine was murdered by her estranged husband in Bethlehem and then he turned the gun on himself. Their 2 children WERE in the home. The thought of my friends husband makes me SICK !!! Anything I thought I knew about him prior to murdering my friend is out the door. The pain that these selfish, sick, twisted individuals cause is devastating to SO many. I pray for the victims family and their children. As for the murderer, he gets NO sympathy from me. He CHOSE to kill his wife and commit suicide. He knew exactly what he was doing. I hope he rots in hell !!!

F*** you... that's my mom who you're insulting. My mom was not implying that she deserved anything or that what he did was right. What she was saying is that people like YOU who don't know anything about it except for the one side that the paper prints shouldn't be making comments or judging anybody involved. No, she didn't deserve to die anymore than he did. Nobody does. But she also wasn't right when she cheated on him for 8 years and he loved her enough to forgive him everytime.
