I am a new college student that will be enrolling at SWOSU this coming fall. I plan on living there with a couple of my buddies who are in the same situation. I have been looking for a place there online for about a week now and was only about to find one apartment complex with price and information, Collegiate Station.

Anyone have some information on other apartments or maybe some house rentals in the area?

A lot of towns don't hardly put up rent signs no more. The best way we have found out to check on house is find one empty that you may like. Then call city hall and see who owns it, then call the number they give you. A lot of times if the place is a mess offer to clean it up for the despoit or the first months rent. Sometime the landlord will go for that. And Man if you share the rent make sure you buds are willing to help share the rent and utilities..I have found out in life friends sometimes can't be trusted. Thirty West a Clinton has apartments, 1,2,3 ,4 bed rooms. I think the rent verys from 375 to 475, Good luck

Some friends and i are also looking for rental properties near swosu. We found several rent houses by driving around town. Plus you can go to any of the numerous real estate agencies in town, most landlords will leave their information there. Our experience though is most homes for rent are going for $850-$1100 for 3 bedrooms. Apartments or trailer homes are going to probably be the cheaper route.

Trailer house at Elk City is around 575 a mounth. There nothing but junk to me. But seems like that is the going rate in most areas..

Thanks for the replys. I suppose I will have to take a drive around W-ford and have a look for my self.

Those apartments in Clinton didn't sound bad. I might have to check those out as well.

well, we lucked out and found a 3 bedroom for $650, it's on indiana st in weatherford, a couple of streets away from campus. There was another three bedroom available across the street, if you're interested call Hoffman pools (i think he also owns a real estate agency in town) to get more details.
