Boy that post had it all, clever name plays, corny Louis L'amour cowboy references and lastly...wait for it, the bile filled condemning prediction. There is nothing out of the ordinary to wax philosphically about human nature and the inevitable tear down that "might" occur when these "ass-whippings" come your way but you have to admit, this particular "cowboy" did not help his cause by running over budget year after year and having hyena-like department discipline (apologies to the hyenas). This position is a borrowed one at best and because of that, his age, his lax approach and affinity for coffee were all liabilities and in the end were his downfall, to blame this loss on mudslinging and subterfuge is to avoid reality.

Herrera did not have a heart attack everyone. i saw him today driving on main st and talking on his cell phone while driving. he is alive and doing good but i still did not vote for him anyway.

Why high and mighty? You should know about licking wounds... It is nice Schmerber finally got to know what the feeling of winning was. Herrera had already kicked his a$$ more than once before. It was time for a change but don't act like Schmerber knows nothing about defeat. It's a wonder he kept trying.

Herrera defeated him only once but it was a very close margin, but no matter, herrera still shit in his pants last time.
