I'm talking about real ones, not the ones who just pretend to be so guys will buy them drinks. Mature, responsible, gay women in their older 20's to 50's are impossible to find around here. I'm a middle-age feminine gay woman and I have no lesbian friends. I know a few, but they're still young and too crazy to even hang around with. If you are just a normal gay woman, ome out, come out wherever you are!

In a few hours people will be posting trying to save our souls, or blaming lesbians for ruining the moral fiber of this country. :)

I work hard, I pay my bills, I pray, I treat others with respect. Most of the people that come in here to bash us are the ones who really have something hidden deep in their closets. I just know that all my friends around here are straight and they accept me for who I am and if someone doesn't, then they weren't my friend in the first place. This town has gotten a lot better than it used to be for us "sinners". If you get to know someone and you like that person for who they are inside, who they choose to sleep with shouldn't matter. I'm out at work and I've brought a lot of homophobes around. They got to know me before they were able to pass judgement and it diminished some of their fears about being around "people like me".

I usually just go out with friends, who are all straight! Wishing Luck has a point Jackson may have a better lesbian scene. I know at one time Jackson had a gay club.

Well, I go to bars occasionally, but I don't want that to be my main agenda. I love to play poker and I recently started going to "on the rocks" on Fridays just to get in the tournament. I hang with my straight friends as well, but I know there have to be some decent women like me out there to hang out with. And for "wishing luck", thank you very much for your comment. I am a good person who just wants to meet some people like me who share the same interests. "Guest", we should meet. I'm not looking for a life-time partner at the moment. I would just like to get to know some people in this one-horse town. Maybe we share some of the same straight friends? Who knows.

I don't know how to play poker, although I would like to learn. I have to admit all of the terms like river card, small blind, and big blind confuse me a little.:)
