and you think that they are really sitting in there, then you should just go park outside the theater and check. Seriously, I saw girls trying to get picked up by strangers riding by, girls being picked up by strangers, girls sucking helium out of balloons that they just bought at the dollar tree, and then saying inappropriate things to adults walking by, and some kids walking behind the theater in the shadows. I observed all of this in the 30 seconds that it took me to walk to my vehicle. Maybe you should quiz your kid on the movie, but I'm sure they got a ticket just to cover themselves and probably looked up a summary of the movie online before they went.

I've always wondered about this situation? I just wonder if I know some of these kids?

People drop their kids off at the skating rink, movies, mall, anywhere they can spend a few bucks and get rid of their kids for a while. They don't know what's really going on becase they are too irresponsible. It's really sad!

Haha I used to do this. Would search on what the movie was about before I went. We usually didn't watch the movie, we went to someone's house or out and around so i could sneak cigs. My grandfather would never come back to check on me cuz I always said I was staying the night at this friend's house. So he didn't like to get back out to drive around. But i finally grew up after got over the "18 i can do anything" stage. They never asked for the ticket cuz I never kept up with stuff like that anyway. Used to throw em away as soon as i got them.

We drove through the lot earlier to look at the movie posters...just to see what's playing...and while we were there I saw 2 girls get out of a car with adults, stand in line till the car left the lot and then go to the other end of the building and get in a car with 3 young boys...My daughter is almost to the age that I would let her go to the movies alone but you'd better believe I'm gonna check up on her!

I happen to be a mother that allows my 15 yr old daughter to be dropped off at the movies and have never had any problems. And yes im not saying shes perfect in anyway because nobodys kids are but she was raised the right way and knows better than to do stupid things like that. She is not one who leaves the movies and goes to hastings and is back before i arrive to get her. She can walk to hastings after the movie is over and i will pick her up there but only becsuse she has called me to ask if its ok.And yes you are thinking she just dosen't know what her daughter is really doing but you are wrong.Maybe if more parents cared and communicated with there children more often you would be as close to yours as i am to mine.

Not all kids are that way. They were raised that way. You can ask mine child and they will tell you. I will drop her off but she knows not to play the games with me. I will whip her a** for it.

I would get dropped off at the movies and not leave because I knew I would get my a** beat but I would actually go into the theater and still not watch the movie cause I'd be making out with my boyfriend the whole time. so kids don't actually have to leave the theater to get into trouble.

my point was that even if they stay at the movie theater you still have no clue what they are doing inside.

Hastings is not a nightclub or hangout spot. It is a business and the roaming teenagers are a serious problem on the weekends. Even if they are not doing anything "wrong" they still group up and clog the aisles. There is a sign on the door that says "NO LOITERING" and yes, hanging out is loitering. Aside from the occasional energy drink (at night...) they rarely spend any money, therefore they are not customers.

Why do you care if they get in trouble then its their fault and their parents fault if they don't wanna watch their children then its their purgative.

That person cares because she saw teenage girls trying to get picked up by strangers! What if something would have happened to one of them?! I'd be concerned if I saw the same thing!

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Libra

If you live with other people you have to resign yourself to the fact that you all want to do different things today. The more you urge togetherness, the more everyone will be determined under tonight's Full Moon to do their own thing even if it creates problems. Try to play this down as much as possible because it's also a lunar eclipse and getting angry won't solve anything; it may even make the situation worse. Maybe this is a chance for you to do what you want for a change, too? Anyway, enjoy yourself tonight, Libra because you deserve it!
