It doesn't matter who is running for office ARNOLD is the only one for the job!!!

huh sheperd is running for sheriff? and maitland, u mean booger? that cant be right i gotta do some checking on this

now im hearing that charles bufford is running again also, how many are going to be on the ballot, my goodness, if anyone has any information on this situation please share thanks

Yea you would be CRAZY to vote for Joe "I married a killer" Shepard!!! Or maybe he is looking for a new wife from the jail since that's where he found the last one!

Joe Shepard deserves a certain level of respect, he fought for this country during the Vietnam War and he had served as Gibson County Sheriff for twenty years, but what the citizens of Gibson County need to realize is that for Shepards last three terms Chuck Arnold is the one that took care of the paper work, jail, and employees. I talk to several citizens of the county on a daily bases, and all I hear is how great of a job that Chuck Arnold is doing. That he brought a much needed change to the Sheriff's Office like, he's actully running the jail as it should be, he took away the inmate's T.Vs, Radios, and quit letting trustees hangout all over the Court House, and the County Shop, doing god knows what. He put a big dent in stopping people and employess from bringing drugs into the jail, and he's proved it by arresting a few of his own Correctional Officers. I also found something that greatly disturbed me, someone told me that Joe Shepard has not lived in Gibson County since winning his County Mayor position, and I didn't believe it at first, but I done a little checking, and HE HAS NOT OWNED A HOUSE OR PAYED TAXES ON A HOME IN GIBSON COUNTY FOR FOUR YEARS. I found that he and his wife live in HARDIN COUNTY. No wonder he's let the County get into the shape it has, HE DON'T LIVE HERE!! I don't know about the rest of the citizens of Gibson County, but that PISSES ME OFF!! And for those who want to check for themselves you can go to the State of Tennessee's web page, under government agencies click on the letter C, scroll down to the Comtroller of Treasury, on the right hand side click on Real Estate Assessment Data, search Hardin County. and for owners name type in Shepard, Joe and then click on his name for the information, its public record. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!! If thats not slapping the people of Gibson County in the FACE, THEN WHAT DO YOU CALL IT!!!!! As for me and my family were voting for CHUCK ARNOLD!!!

I didn't believe it, but Fact you was right!!! Joe Shepard's home is in Hardin County!!! Thanks for the info.

well i saw some signs going up for shepard today so i guess he is running , then i run up on who was putting them up. i was a little torn on this election because i have known both joe and chuck for a long time and i was probably going to lean toward chuck anyway because i think joe had his time as sheriff and needs to go home but when i saw don curry putting up one of shepards signs that did it for me i would not vote for anyone associated with that crook. i know there is some bad blood between don and chuck but for him to be working that hard for joe i shutter to think what position he has been promised at the sheriffs dept.

Next time you see Joe Shepard ask him his reason for running for Sheriff. I did and you know what he told me,"because Chuck Arnold did my son wrong". So I asked Chuck what happened and he told me that he did move his son to a differant section, but didn't cut his pay, he had weekends off, and a take home car. I didn't see any thing wrong in what Chuck did,and I got news for you Shepard if thats the only reason your running then you need to go back to Hardin County or where ever you live at now. I meen your running for a personal reason, and not for the betterment of the citizens of Gibson County!!!

And as far as a Joke for an investigator Don Curry holds that title. or is it being the most crooked? Ah well it don't matter Shepards going to get his ass handed to him any way!

An all day fight led to the arrest
of a young couple in Milan last
Wednesday afternoon.
Milan Policeman James Carter
was called to the Temple Baptist
Church parking lot after he
received a complaint of a young
couple throwing punches at each
other.
When Patrolman Carter arrived,
the complainant that called
police said the couple had just
drove away in a gold colored car
with a Maryland license plate.
Moments later, Sgt. Chris
Mathenia located the car at Sonic,
and questioned the occupants.
Sgt. Mathenia reported that
Leah Gunn, 22, of Milan, was
sitting in the passenger side of
the car with blood on her right
hand and scratches on her neck.
Another passenger, Joshua
Martin, 22, of Adamsville, had
marks on his face and head, the
report stated.
The pair admitted they had been
fighting in the church parking
lot, and said they
had been fighting
all day long at
a residence on
Salem Road.
Gunn and
Martin were
both charged
with Domestic
Assault.
When Martin
was booked,
o f f i c e r s
discovered that he
was also wanted
on charges of
Theft of over
$1,000 in Hardin
County.
Hardin Co.
authorities claim
that Martin had
stolen a 55” plasma television
that belonged to his stepfather,
Gibson County Mayor Joe
Shepard.
The pair will be arraigned on
the Domestic Assault charges
on January 27th in Milan City
Court.

This is an article from the Milan Mirror Exchange, so here's your proof that Joe Shepard lives in Hardin County!!!!!!! I wouldn't call him very honest. Of course your definition of honest my be differant than mine.

Well "Please" just so you know just because it put's Murray Kentucky under the person's name/login doesn't mean that is where they are from. It depends on their Internet Service Provider and which router they are running from at the time, so they could very well be in Gibson County. As far as voting for Joe, I like Joe, but I won't be voting for him due to the fact he lives in Hardin County. I think all persons who work for the county, should live in the county....Chuck will have my vote!!
