La Plata Holdings LLC and partner Albuquerque-based Geltmore should look around Farmington and buy 562 vacant lots scattered around town to build houses on. No new infrastructure is needed.
The only problem I see with this concept is that by the time these partners build 562 houses, another 1000 houses will be vacated due to the recession bringing the vacant house total to 2562 units.
Does anyone have an answer to this stalemate ? It may be that with Standley and Sharpe both leaving, the City will be progressive, join the green energy economic recovery and build solar farms and wind turbines to replace the old Farmington Airport.
